WTS Used Compaq 515 laptop

Laptop has been used for assignments, work and zero gaming.

No major problems, wifi okay, all connection and jack ports are okay, all keyboard buttons are fine.
Screen sometimes turn to pink, if the screen turns to pink, adjust the screen and it'll be okay.
Battery is dead (need to be replaced), laptop needs to have constant charging if without the battery.

Hello guys, I'm currently using an old Compaq 515 laptop with the faultiness of :

1. Screen sometimes turn to pink
2. Battery faulty so the laptop needs constant charging

This is a very old laptop but it got the job done with my daily work ( documents and Internet ). However, multitasking is slow.

My question is,

1. Should I repair all of these problems and continue with using this old laptop ?
2. Should I try selling this ? If yes, what's the market price for this laptop including the problem ?
3. If I have to buy a new one, decent laptop for documents, Internet, smooth multitasking, minor gaming with an affordable price, what laptop would it be ?
