Internet Sharing

I have a friend who is using Celcom 3G internet. He is using a usb 3G modem. He also has a wireless Aztech Router/Modem. The thing is, I wanna use his internet connection using my laptop wirelessly.
I've tried joining his network set up by the wireless modem/router but it kept directing me to the modem setup page when I open my browser.
So any ideas on setting up an internet share here plz haha. Thank you.

[addedon]March 18, 2008, 10:04 pm[/addedon]Bumpity Bump

Hey guys, I just broke my squash racket so I'll need a new one. Please suggest some good sports equipment shops near Subang.
I'm planning to get the Wilson K 145 because my friends said that it is powerful. Is it within my budget of RM300? Thx.

Campus Firewall causing high pings?

Greetings, I'm a student currently studying in University of Nottingham Semenyih Campus. The internet in the Halls of Residence (In-campus hostel) is managed by Extreme Broadband Sdn Bhd. Their website has stated that they are using industrial strength firewall to secure the network. My question is whether this will cause high pings/extreme lag in online games such as the one I'm playing now that is Rappelz. I managed to have decent gameplay during my last semester. Now it's totally unplayable, my character will only move after a few minutes. Even during the earthquake aftermaths, it did not lag as bad as now.
My question is whether this is caused by their firewall and how can I bypass it if it is?

PS: playing at home using TMnet Streamyx is SMOOTH.
