Upgrading Options

My friend told me about wanting to upgrade his rig. I told him it will be quite hard and would be better if he just buy a new rig but then I'm also wondering if buying a new one is worse than upgrading. What better place to ask for recommendation than here, right?

Here are his current gaming rig:

AMD AthlonII X2 245
ASUS M2N68-AM Plus
2GB DDR2 RAM
500GB SATA HDD
Trendsonic T450X 450W PSU
Trendsonic Case

Recommendation Based On Set Specs

I have set my mind on buying the specs below but then I thought why not ask more people for suggestions. So here it is;

Budget: RM 2,400

Current picked build:
Processor : AMD Athlon II X4 631
Motherboard : Asus F1A75-M LE
Graphic Card : Sapphire HD 7750 1GB GDDR5
Hard Disk : WD Blue Hard Drive 1TB
SSD : Intel 330 60GB
RAM : 2 x Corsair PC1333 4GB
Casing : AeroCool Strike One
PSU : Corsair 500CXUK 500W
Monitor : BenQ 21.5" GW2250 LED
Keyboard and Mouse : Gigabyte Keyboard KM52000
Speaker : Sonic Gear Ego 3Nity

Overall build total is RM 2,387.

It is quite solid in my opinion but perhaps there are still room for improvement provided it doesn't exceed the set budget. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Recommendation on PC Specs

Greetings to everyone,

I have been thinking about a few specs for my limited budget but I am not confident enough to execute the plan. Maybe it's because of my lack of computer hardware knowledge. Thus, I would like to start from scratch and ask here. I realize that the budget is too little to get a decent setup but I am still hoping for a miracle .

Budget: RM1000 and below.

Purpose: Gaming (Old-to-Latest PC Games). I don't mind playing with low details.

Preference: AMD

Needed Parts:
○ Processor
○ Motherboard (Any from ASUS/ECS/GIGABYTE/MSI)
○ Graphic Card (If Possible)
○ Hard Disk
○ RAM
○ Casing
○ PSU

I would prefer if the build can make way for further upgrades much later on.

Integrated graphics are a high possibility on this budget and I am willing to live with that. After all, I'm pretty sure that the integrated graphic will literally pwn my old GeForce FX5200 . But if there is any possibility that a graphic card is not impossible, I would be the happiest low-budget-guy alive.
