iPhone earbuds replacement

My earbuds which came with my iPhone from Digi suddenly stopped working. Can I get a replacement? Is it under warranty? Do I go to telco or apple retailer?

There is no physical damage to the earphones anyways like torn rubber or wires

IMEI blocking

I lost my iphone last week due to theft, and today at Digi center pyramid the Digi staff told me that iPhone 5 IMEI can be blocked. So I called the helpline and gave some details and in the end my stolen iphone IMEI is blocked and will not be able to receive or make calls and messages forever until I unblock it. So the *** who stole my phone will only be able to use it as an iPod.

Anyways just wanna share the info with everyone, because previously I read on the forum that this practice is not done in Malaysia. I'm not sure if its only for iPhones bought from telcos, but for those unfortunate people at least this is one last step to take to make sure the thief can't use your iphone.

Cheap root canal recommendations?

I have a front tooth that was decayed badly 4 years ago.. After doing filling, got infection, and dentist said the filling too close to the nerve and offered to do root canal.. But at the time I was still 13 and my family is like "better extract than spend money on dental" that kind so all I did was take antibiotics.. the pain and infection went away.

Fast forward to now, I got pain and inflammation on the gum above the tooth.. It has been fine the whole 4 years, no discolouration or anything. Went to government dentist, they confirm the tooth is dead by putting ice on the tooth, the tooth cannot feel anything (Die already). I don't know what to do now, I realise how serious it is, the infection might eat my bone away, or go into my bloodstream and kill me and so on. But I am still studying and my family can't afford the root canal + crown that is recommended.

I have called UM, UKM and a lot of government hospitals, what they say is either the clinic no such equipment yet, or they don't offer root canal for those aged over 18, or for UM and UKM their waiting list is 1-2 years (according to receptionist).

I am genuinely worried and scared, and I was wondering

a) How much is root canal and crowning in the market now? I called a lot of dentists and none would give me an estimate without me going to checkup first (so they can collect consultation fee)

b) can I do root canal first and then crown later? Is my tooth very likely to fracture?

c) anyone have any good dentist recommendations which charge a reasonable price? or anyone have any info about more government services which provide root canal?

FYI, the tooth is between front tooth and canine, it is very small. It has a large filling, I think 50% filling. I read that molars are more expensive, but this is a front tooth.

Thanks for all your help guys, I really really can't lose this tooth.. I would do anything not to lose this tooth, if I lose it I might never dare to smile or talk again..

DiGi EPP Inquiry

Hello, everyone, i'm sorry if this question is redundant but I couldn't find it in the forum

I'm interested in getting the Iphone 5. I am going to be buying the phone with my money and my parents will be paying my monthly bill.

One thing I'd like to know is

1. Every month the installment is plan+phone price. Can I pay a lump sum of 1k all at once instead of 100+? And if I pay a big amount, is the cost deducted from the phone price or both phone and plan?

Thank you.

Cheap Hair Salon in Subang/KL for dinner hairdo

Hi guys, I'm hoping any of you have any contacts or old regular salons which provide hair do service. My prom is coming up, and I just want to do a simple tong curl and one side braid. I discovered that salons here charge up to RM 60 for just hair curling which I can do myself if I brought my hair curler with me to KL =.=

I'm used to going to my ex-neighbour's salon, a small cheap salon but very good service to me, so I don't want to pay too extravagantly. Price range of up to RM 40 will be okay. I'm not doing any elaborate wedding updo with my hair, just want simple curling.

Thanks!!!

Hi guys.. I'm really noob at this so I wana ask.. If i want to import a laptop from Singapore, will it be very costly? I checked the courier rates online but I'm not sure about GST.. and also, do any of u have any suggestions who or what reliable website can help with importing laptops? If I'm not mistaken I read somewhere that there's a guy who specialises in importing laptops but I can't seem to find him though I searched the whole forum.. Please help thanks.
