HR-V vs Mazda3 vs XV

My existing ride is getting old and weaker by the day with lots of minor issue coming out here and there.

So i'm going to sign another liability soon.

I'm only comparing the price vs spec vs long term ownership.

So i don't care if it is different segment since the 3 listed looks almost around the same size and price range.

In my mind now XV will be last choice as i perceive that parts will hard to come by and maintenance should be on the high side.

The little racer boy in me saying Mazda 3 is the one to get with good look and spec but perceived higher maintenance cost + lower RV.

But upon further consideration, the saner part of me say HR-V for practicality, lower maintenance cost and possibly higher RV in the future.

So which will you chose if you're like me in early 30s, majority from home to office and weekend outings but no family yet?

Hi everyone, I'm planning to get an entry level 5.1 system very soon.

At the moment I've narrowed down my selection to the below entries. Which do you recommend for being the value for money in terms of features, quality and spec wise or is there any other recommendation?. Please help urgently as I may be getting it as early as this Saturday and my budget around 2k.

*I still have a set of Paradigm speaker which is at least 15 yrs old, is it still any good with a new system?

Good citizens of LYN,

I've just encountered a bad start to the day.

While traveling back from Cyberjaya to KL using LDP, a speeding idiot driving dark color Honda (older version Civic i think) "kissed" my car and ran.

As usual, after accident we'll move to the road side to inspect and discuss about it but this !#$@# idiot just ran off.

Thus, i don't know the number plate as well as its quite dark since it happened about 6.40am.

BTW, i'm on a red Suzuki swift, anyone who witness that pls help me with the car number so i can try to claim that @#$%% insurance.

I'm getting tired of paying ridiculous price for my regular car service @ authorised workshop from Suzuki.

I've been bringing my swift to the authorised service center for the pass 4 - 5 yrs now.

Since the warranty ended, can anyone recommend me a trust worthy, reliable and affordable work shop?

BTW, i stay near Jln Kelang Lama, would appreciate if the work shop is around there or surrounding area.

Hi peeps,

Can any owners or those who got experienced in the new swift(CKD) give some comments on quality, service, etc. Planning to get one soon but yet to test drive it myself since i'm still trying to figure out where's the closest dealer. I know there might be better options in Vios, City, etc but they are at least 10k more. Else i'll stick to my other choice which is Getz 1.4, read a lot of good review about it

Pls don't give friend's experience <-- Guess this needed after all....sigh
