Looking for potential SME to work for

hey guys, i am fresh graduate who is currently looking for jobs.

In terms of salary, benefits, working environment, big companies is definitely a right place to go. However, it is hard to get a job in big companies if academic results is not good (btw, my cgpa is 3.2, second upper) and have to compete with so many applicants. I applied OSK graduate program, but there are over 1000 applicants for this position, OMG~ I wondered whether my resume able pass thru their scanning process.

Since i am still young (Age 22), salary is not my first concern but potential to grow in the company. Thus, i think of looking for job in SME coz SME is also not bad. it is better than those big companies in certain aspects such as wide job scope (coz you have to do everything due to cost saving), higher potential to get promoted (less competitors) and learn more.

I did saw some job posts on Jobstreet which posted by SME. but it is lack of info of the company, some of the companies's websites are so lousy. in this case, I don't know how to evaluate whether it is a good SME to work for.

So, my question is:

1. how to evaluate a SME in terms of grow potential and employment development?

2. where to find a job in SME? As i saw on jobstreet, many posts are from big companies.

3. how to get a job in SME?

4. is SME a right place to go?

Thanks for the answer provided first.
