Calendar invitation ics with Windows Live Mail

Hi everyone, we are using WLM here in office but we have a problem reading and replying the calendar invitation (.ics format) sent by others. I have googled out the solution but most of solutions I found is to migrate WLM to Microsoft Outlook which is not really practical as not every user has Microsoft Office plus the process of converting WLM to Outlook is not easy and a bit time consuming.

I really appreciate if any of you sifus could help me solve this problem. Thank you in advance.

Best A3 Color InkJet Printer to buy

Hi everyone, can any of you sifus suggest what is the best A3 size InkJet printer to buy?.
Going to be used for perspective printing for the architect firm.
Actually I was aiming for Canon Pixma Pro 100 but currently are out of stock.

Currently we are using the old HP Business InkJet 2800 but the printing speed was damn slow plus
no borderless feature. Our LaserJet HP5225DN could print very fast but the color accuracy is sucks
and can't print glossy/photo paper.

Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, I'm not an audiophile but can somebody help to suggest me the small speakers (something like bookshelf) with deep bass probably below 50hz?. I did some reading and research from the net but most of the speakers I found are not available here in Malaysia. My budget is below RM800 because I still need to buy an amplifier.

Thank you in advance.

Windows Server 2008 R2

Dear all sifus and server experts. I have a problem with security policy on Windows Server 2008 R2 platform. I have a folder on the server that I shared with all users on network. I have applied a policy by giving a fully control to HOD (Head of Department) and restricted control to the rest of domain users. The problem is, I couldn't add administrator to the permission entries. Every time I add administrator into permission entries, the rest of domain user granted fully control. May I know why?
(pic attached)

Thank you in advance.

The Best A3 size Inkjet Printer

Hi everyone, I'm currently having a printing problem with my HP Business Inkjet 2800 after long time. We have 3 units of that model here in the office but all of those suddenly failed to print nicely either on the Glossy or Photo paper. Those printers are quite old which we bought around 5 - 6 years ago.

Here I'm looking for some advice on which Inkjet printer that available in the market is the best for printing on Glossy & Photo paper. Our supplier have lent us a demo unit before (HP OfficeJet Pro 8600) to test, but the print quality was not as good as our old HPBI2800.

Really appreciate if some sifus in this forum can help me regarding this matter.

Thank you in advance.

But the problem is, none of them (architects) has requested to use it from me before. They don't even know what is relevant to them. So, I really appreciate if you all can share your thoughts and advice on this matter.

Thank you in advance.

Autocad 2011 freezes on startup

Hi everyone, sorry if this topic already been discussed here but seriously I couldn't find any.

My company has 8 units Autocad 2011 full version comes with Revit Architecture Suite 2011. And another 2 units of Autocad 2011 LT version. All versions are experiencing freezing/hang during start up. It randomly happens from 1 pc to another. The only solution for now is to repair the software via the control panel (add / remove software). And after that reboot the computer. If lucky enough, they can be used with the first attempt, if not I have to reboot / restart for several time. There is 1 solution I found from the other forum suggested to kill the 'WSCommCntr1.exe' process from the task manager but I couldn't find any in my case.

The weird thing, It only occurs in 2011 version. The other version 2009, 2010, 2012 & 2013 do not have this kind of problem.

Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, Sorry if the topic exist but I'm looking for a new products.

I need suggestions for a very good A3 size Inkjet printer to buy. It would be better if the suggestion came from the user who had experience using the device. Currently I'm using HP Business Inkjet 2800 http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?oid=429042. Printing quality is quite good but the speed is very slow and sometimes it fails to print large files. Previously, we have tried a demo unit of HP OFFICEJET K8600 as recommended by HP dealer. Very good speed (3 time faster), but the printing quality is very bad even with the best quality setting selected. Please me.

Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, sorry if this kind of topic existed, but seriously I couldn't find any of 'em.

My internal 160GB Hard disk produced one knocking sound like 'tick tick' or 'grek grek' whenever I'm saving my autocad file. But it did not happen in other application like when saving Ms Word or Excel. I did a scan disk & defragment, the result shows that the hard disk still in good condition with only 4kb cluster.

Is my hard disk going to spoil?. It's a HP Workstation xw4300 bought in 2007, Windows XP Pro SP2 / Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.2 Ghz, 160GB HDD/ 1GB RAM / DVD-RW / Nvidia Quadro FX540 (128MB).

Thank you in advance.

Autodesk - Subscription

Hi everyone, sorry if this topic already been discussed here but seriously I couldn't find em'.

My company had 9 units of Revit Architecture 2011 (upgraded from 2010 through the free subscription), 11 units of Autocad LT 2009, 2 units of Autocad LT 2010, 3 units of Autocad LT 2011 and 6 units of 2012. The suppliers or even ppl from the Autodesk themselves keep urging me to renew my yearly subscription. As we all know, the subscription fee is not cheap plus most of users here kept (more prefer) using the old version even after the upgrade. My question, should I renew the subscription for all those units? Are they important?

Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi all, sorry if the topic is already exist but I can't found one exactly like my case. The clock placed on my taskbar, slws down by itself like 10 mins. I keep on correcting it and it keeps on slowing down in 2-3 hours after that. I have replaced my cmos battery with the new one and killed all running application at the background but it doesn't solve the problem. I have installed clock sync programs like 'Atomic' & 'AnalogX' as suggested in other forum but the problem is still there or maybe I don't really know how to use them.

Another weird thing, I've got like 55 unit workstations in the office and only 4 of them were running in correct time... the rest are late between 5 - 10 mins. I don't think it's a battery problem because even the 3 months old PC facing the same problem.

Really appreciate it if somebody can help me solve this problem. Sorry if the topic exist but I'm looking for a new products.

I need suggestions for a very good A3 size Laserjet printer to buy. It would be better if the suggestion came from user who had experience using the device.
Currently I already had 2 units... HP CP5225dn & HP5550n but seriously not really impressed with those. Got hell a lot of problems, always failed to print, error here.. error there.
The toner not cheap either... I got to spend about RM2,500/month per printers. The printing results are different with the actual file in terms of color.

Thank you in advance.
