Inisiatif Penambahbaikan Simpanan Persaraan Ahli KWSP ini adalah langkah KWSP untuk:

memberi maklumat lanjut mengenai inisiatif penambahbaikan bagi menambah simpanan persaraan ahli KWSP; dan
mendapatkan maklum balas ahli KWSP menerusi kaji selidik khas yang akan dibuka mulai 21 April hingga 5 Mei 2015.

KWSP ditubuhkan pada 1951 dengan mandat untuk menyediakan kemudahan menyimpan dan melindungi simpanan persaraan untuk ahlinya yang terdiri daripada pekerja sektor swasta dan pekerja tidak berpencen di sektor awam.

Selaras dengan mandat yang telah diberikan, KWSP telah mengenalpasti beberapa faktor yang memberi kesan kepada kehidupan pesara pada masa akan datang seperti:

Peningkatan Kos Sara Hidup
Jangka Hayat dan Tempoh Persaraan Yang Semakin Meningkat
Simpanan Persaraan Yang Tidak Mencukupi

Sehubungan itu, KWSP mencadangkan beberapa inisiatif penambahbaikan bagi memastikan jumlah simpanan persaraan ahli meningkat dan mampu untuk menampung tempoh persaraan yang semakin panjang.
