Advise needed for sound system for my HE setup

Guys wondering if you guys can recommend a sound system which will support my current and future setup and will not cost more than RM1k.

My current set up is considered low end, consist of Toshiba 32inch HD ready with Sony DVD player all in HDMI set up. Astro goes in to s-video port but i'm in process of upgrading to beyond(Astro HD).

Any good sound system will will support my current set up and also my future Astro HD? I heard the Astro HD decoder only support digital output is that correct?

Appreciate if the shop name or contact included and the model name recommended. My budget is anything bellow RM1k

Problem getting HyperX DDR2-1066 at rated speed

Guys, im having problem getting my HyperX KHX8500AD2K2/4G (correction, its KHX8500D2K2/4G) 2GBx4=8GB at 1066 with 5-5-5-15 or even 5-5-5-18, not sure if im getting a lemon set or what but it could also be my mainboard which is a Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R. I was able to boot up but the set up would failed with Everest and system would crash after sometimes. I've bump up the DDR voltage to 2.2V as what Kingston rate that RAM but not stable, i have not tried applying more than 2.2V DDR voltage though.

My mainboard issue? or i need to test every piece of the RAM for stability? Or because i put 4pcs of memory?

updated 31st Aug 2009 - Solution: Changed my Mobo to GA-EP45-UD3R and now i manage to run the KHX8500D2K2/4G with 4 stick(2GBx4) stable at 1066MHz at 5-5-5-15 - tRFC 52 at 2V, this is one good Mobo

Canon 50mm F/1.4 USM backfocus with Canon 450d

Good day, i've been having this back focus issue with my new 50mm F/1.4 USM lens coupled with my 450d. It does not happened with other lens i have which is the 50mm f/1.8, 18-55 IS kit lens, 55-250 IS and 17-85 IS USM. At first i thought that there is something wrong with the lens as all image generated are soft, and i end up testing it with a test chart from http://focustestchart.com/chart.html.

From there i can see that my 450d would back focus with this lens where at f1.4, the back portion of the test chart would be sharp rather than the focus point. Thing getting worse when the F number increase which is again weird considering the AF mechanism is done while lens fully opened

I HAVE send the lens and the body to Canon Service center in Peremba Square at Saujana Resort for calibration, it takes 7days (5 working days) to calibrate it.

After received the calibrated body and lens but it still back focus even though it does improve a bit but still not sharp as the phase mode focusing on Live View

My question would be, is anyone else facing this? Is this just something that cannot be fix by calibrating the body and i got a lemon lens?

I'm going to send my lens and body for calibration for a second time.

Best ADSL Router for less than RM400

I'm getting tired with sub RM100 ADSL modem with build in router and planning to spend on something with more routing capability. Eying on LINKSYS RV042 but this one already over budget as it is over RM600. Any opinion welcome

Can anyone recommend any StreamyX router that has a solid performance and can handle multiple routing session without lagging. My Aztech D600EU seams to fail this and keep on lagging when stressed. Anything under RM500 would be consider and i just need modem+router+LAN only
