Need recommendation for medical student laptop

Any current medical students in the group? Is that any specific requirement for medical students on laptop included specific software?
Reason being as my kid will go for medical course,hence plan to get one for him. So need to do some resource included brand / spec.

I try seach for driving school for my kid between Puchong area to obtain Bike and car license, but it seem like price are between RM1500 - 2300.
Woundering what the correct price like? and any recommedation?

Also, is that still got "Undertable" need for on the road test (I'm not prefer this but like to found out)?

Security Door Lock replacement

My door handle start given problem hence guess it time to get it replace.
Unfortunately this are Security Door which not all the Lock are suitable especially Digital Door lock will not be an option (correct me if wrong)

Is that any recommendation or where could I search for replacement within Subang / PJ / Puchong area, or what other option I have before I go back to same vendor which quoted me up to RM 800 for 2 set (1 with Lock 1 with the Cover only due to obsoleted modal)

Advice need - Crack line at wall

I’m having problem on my extension area where light cracked line at the Upper floor and also wall tiles at kitchen are cracking too .

Anyone have such experience how to address or expert that could refer to validate it as suspecting the bad foundation done on the extension area or not too strong?

Water tank installation advice need

Hi, I have set appointment next week with plumber to install addition stainless steel water tank at my external concrete roof.
It will link with my existing tank (inside the roof) for extra water supply.
Any advice or items I need to take note to ensure trouble free? any experience could share?

I’m plan to get a wardrobe in the master room, like to get advise which one should I go for
1) Full Height till ceiling –
a. Pro: Clean (can’t see dust), more space.
b. Con: Can’t move and can’t clean dust behind it

or
2) Standard Height (9 Feets)
a. Pro: Can move and clean behind included spray to prevent termite eat
b. Con: less space (1 feet), most dust (can be see)

My house already have CF released, and I also apply permit for renovation from local council.

QUesiton as someone told me that after done the renovation, we need to reapply CF again due to the changed on the house.

Way to remove sticking Plaster at Security Door

I havs leaved the sticking plaster under hot / rain day for past few months till thise today during house cleaning time

Direct Pipe vs Tank water

Due to recent installed my POE and have have a 5 bars reading, hence a question pop up.

Since it have such high pressure at the area, will it be a good reason to modifier those internal pipe to use water from main pipe direct, and only if not water it falled back to water tank?
By doing so, at least I could stop use water heater with pump

Any members have done such before, please shared your expirence and also what the cost like?

I have order 8 fan from Selxxx Sukxx (replaced with xxx to prevent been fired) at the Mar Eco Home Show 2011 and due to the ceiling high issues, I have to cancel off the rest of 4 units and only take 4 Q8 units which able to fill into the rooms.

So today I go to collect the 4 units from the shop at puchong and pay the rest of balance.

But what make me surprised when I ask them so what happen to my Two free gift as least I should be getting? Or since I didn’t get the fully purchased items but at least still have One free gift, rights (The sale man give me two Fan mod during the sale)?
The answer what I getting is
1) You already purchased the fan so cheap and it was order since March 2011
2) You can’t get the same price now
3) We didn’t earn any and you didn’t get the full item.

What the hack…is not all sale items been secure for a year during road show, even if the price is up that nothing do with us as consumer since we already lock it…
The gift is just a small thing, but I personally think that if they can’t they should not use above as an excused at all….as I still pay RM 1340(4 x 340) instead of RM2514 (less RM 1100)

I guess this will be my last time to get things from them.

What the possiable of water leaking marked at wall

One of my wall having water marked near the skirting area (only the particular area)

And behind of the wall only have a slide type roof from next door.

What will be the cause? Possiable on next door roof leaking? but looking at the area is almost impossiable as the water marked area are almost higher than the roof.
The extended wall didnt have any water piping conceal inside

Paint for Plaster Ceiling

Any suggestion what brand to use for painting Plaster ceiling, that didn't produce too much on small powder that impact us on long ran?

Where it place right after the main meter type and could plan in the ELCB box

Air-corn inside Plaster ceiling box

Now the plaster ceiling renovation are in process, and noticed that the length between the plaster ceiling and the aircorn pipe are short. Make a measurement and noticed all below 14 inch, which meant the aircorn will having problem to fill into the decide area (4 units impacted), as it need 14” from aircoprn pipe to the top.

So, I asked the Plaster ceiling and aircorn folk
1) Plaster ceiling folk: Not a big problem, as the aircorn folk can use the flexi pipe type to joining it, else they should not in the business

2) Aircorn folks: 1) Suggested make a box like under the Plaster ceiling, so that the aircorn partially inside plaster ceiling (Sorry, can’t find any picture). 2) Alternative is re-hack the walls to low those pipes as the initial already on correct sport, but it was due to plaster ceiling folk lower the plaster ceiling to extra 2” (it should low of 7: but now it was 9”).
Than I asking them above the solution given by plaster ceiling folk, than they said “Sorry, this is not our way of working, as it was illegal and shortcut, as it will easily cause water leaking”

Anyone member using Plaster ceiling box to cover aircorn, what the pro / con?

* I'm doing my renovation and aircorn pipe already concile on the wall.

It similar like this, but the aircorn unit may partially hide into depend on how much space need from the pipe again
