Clichés on Tinder profile.

I've been using Tinder for a while. There are certain clichés that I found that girls like to post on here profiles. This mildly annoys me. Here list the list that I found and observed.

1. Posted about religion thingie/quote as one of the profile pics. Found this mostly on divorcees.
2. Self-describing herself as curvy. Most people who posted this is either overweight or obese.
3. Posting scuba diving pictures. Are you really into scuba diving or are your genuinely think that guys attracted to that? Is scuba diving is a trend with single women nowadays?
4. Has Tinder profile but never posted any pictures of hers. Seriously are you guys will swipe right if he doesn't have any clue what you look like?
5. Self-sabotaging her self in the description by saying not pretty, smelly, cannot and lazy to cook and so on.
6. Posted a lot of places she visited overseas but what I could see what's highlighted was her butt or boobs. I don't have any issue with people likes to travel but are you really travelling with that kind of photos?

Fell feel to share yours.

Looking for a Bluetooth headphone with multicast

Dear All,

I'm looking for a Bluetooth headphone, preferable the over the ear type which can connect to more than one device at the same time. I always listening to my free version Spotify from my office laptop but at the same time, I want to be able to answer the call using the headphone using my Bluetooth headphone without the need to use my phone physically.

Currently, I'm using Sonic Gear Airphone V which have a decent sound quality to listen to the music but too bad it doesn't support multicast. When it's connected to the phone, my laptop couldn't detect it. To connect to my notebook I need to manually disconnect the headphone, and open the Bluetooth settings in my notebook to connect it. It's so much work and troublesome.

I have a cheapo Sonic Gear Blue Sport 2 that can do that (connect to the 2 devices at the same time) but the sound quality and the battery life suck to the max. I wonder why the cheap earphone has the feature whilst the more expensive one is lack of it.

So I hope I could get help from forumers here that have information on headphones that could do multicast preferably that costs less than RM300 as I have done my research on google and I couldn't get much information that I want.

Thanks.

PRC Tourist scold local in SG

QUOTE

Have you ever gotten very annoyed with a person that you try to get back at them in the pettiest way possible? Well, this netizen from Singapore decided to take revenge on a Chinese tourist who was asking for directions after she criticised him for his bad Mandarin, wrote Mothership. The man took to Twitter to describe what happened with the “rude” tourist lady. He wrote that a Chinese tourist stopped him to ask for directions and she spoke to him in Mandarin. She asked him for directions to Bayfront (in Mandarin) but he couldn’t understand her, so he tried clarifying if she meant Bayfront, HarbourFront or Admiralty. In case you aren’t aware, all of these places are situated in Singapore.

However, the tourist snapped and said to him, “You’re a Chinese but you don’t know how to speak Mandarin, aren’t you ashamed of yourself?” (this is a roughly translated version of her reply which was in Mandarin). Annoyed by the lady’s response, the netizen proceeded to give her the directions of Tuas Link which is the “extreme west” of Singapore and also the wrong way. At the time of writing this article, the netizen’s tweet has gone viral with more than 5,000 retweets and over 4,000 likes.

Read more at WOB

Now, PRC is daring to show ketuanan plotek in a foreign country. Be careful my dear malaysian chinese. Next it could be you kena scold by this prcs as they more of them coming here.
MASwings forced to fly empty!

QUOTE

KOTA KINABALU: In a bizzareturn of events that seems to defy logic, Maswings has since Jan. 1 been flying its ATR500s between here and Sandakan four times daily – but without any paying passengers on board except for crew.
This means up to 240 seats unoccupied (ATR500s can accommodate 60 people) which if snapped up at AsiaAsia’s current rates for the same sector at RM195 (taking booking on Feb. 3 flight as benchmark) would mean a loss of RM46,800 daily or RM1.4m monthly and more depending on how long this state of affairs is allowed to continue.

Daily Express was tipped off about this by the travelling public who were prevented from boarding these “ferry flights” as they were called that depart KK at 8.20am and 3.15pm daily. The ATRs then proceed to serve only the Sandakan-Tawau sector before returning again to KK empty.

They described the arrangement as “stupid”.

“On the one hand they (new government) keep saying they want to cut costs. I want the new Transport Minister and Finance Minister to explain why they are allowing taxpayer’s monies and resources to be wasted this way,” said one of the disgruntled travellers who had to settle for an alternative flight to Sandakan.

“I find it absurd because the plane was there at the airport but with not a single passenger when it took off to Sandakan,” one of them said.

What puzzled him more was the fact that it allowed passengers to board the plane when it reached Sandakan en route to Tawau.

“Isn’t this also a waste of fuel for the aircraft?,” he said.

When asked, Maswings did not deny this had been the case since Jan.1 and blamed it on its flight operations for rural areas in Sabah and Sarawak being governed by the new Public Service Obligations (PSO) 2019 Agreement, which was signed between the Airlines and Ministry of Transport (MOT).

A spokeswoman for Maswings said under the new agreement, it was no longer given the right to operate “eight routes” within and across Sabah and Sarawak since Jan. 1.

“These include routes from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan vice versa and Kota Kinabalu to Tawau vice versa.

“These eight routes were removed from the new Agreement as it no longer falls under the definition of PSO under the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) Act. These eight routes are now operated by other commercial airlines such as Malaysia Airlines and Airasia,” she added.

She, however, said it would still be servicing the route from Sandakan to Tawau and vice versa on daily schedule, which was listed among the 39 routes it was presently operating under the new agreement.

“To enable us to fulfil this obligation, we need to operate on ‘ferry services’ from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan and vice versa.

“On this ‘ferry services’, we are not allowed to sell and carry commercial passengers except for operating technical and cabin crew only as per the guidelines set by MAVCOM and MOT.

“Even our own staff are not allowed to board such flight as it is strictly for operating pilots and cabin crew only,” she added. -Oliver Voon

SOURCE

TLDR summary.
- MASWing no longer allowed to serve KK - Sandakan route.
- So, MASWing plane serving new route Sandakan - Tawau is forced to fly from KK to Sandakan in empty seats. After finishing the flight for the day, the aircraft returns to KK with empty seats also.
- MASWing hub is in KK.

Another waste of tax payer money because of the new PH policy. Good job to Nobita and Loke. I'm sure that those money cold be recoverd by increasing SST later on!

Yesterday KPI review

I've been in this company for a merely 1-year plus. Came in as a back-end programmer, now my job function has changed to some sort of SOP monitoring and compliance.

Yesterday I have one on one session with my boss and the result is not quite good. Well, I'm kinda expected the end result but it's still quite hard to swallow.

Ever since the job function changed, I admit I'm not at the best and although I'm not doing anything wrong, it's not up to the KPI standard. Lately, I'm kind of feeling stress because I'm too afraid to do anything wrong, that why I didn't volunteer my self much by taking more project and responsibilities.

My boss also chastised me for spending time on fb and youtube and I believe there's someone who really kepochi and reported this to him.

What hurt me more that not the boss basuh me as a person with a higher position, but he also basuh me at the personal level, which is a fellow friend/colleague.

Now my boss has given me a new KPI to achieve in a couple of months but I still feel like anxiety is creeping towards me, each passing day.

/end rant

Hi guys,

Recently I'm starting a new hobby. Collecting train model kits, specifically Daiso Petit Tain kit. It's cheap to start this as everything in Daiso sells for RM5.30. You can get the one train set for as low as RM15.90, since the complete set come in three, The head locomotive, the middle locomotive which has the running motor and a\the tail/end locomotive. which sells separately. This trains runs using a single AA battery.

So far the only Daiso that sells this train set is the Quill City Mall branch, which I get mine from and The problem is while there are lot lot of model to choose from but sadly, the don't have much variety of train tracks and othe accessories there. So I could only built a very basic oval/circle track. I have checked the branch in Sg. Wang Plaza but sadly it doesn't sells there. If anyone notice any Daiso branch that sells this train kits, kindly share your findings here.

If only Daiso Malaysia store has a complete set like this

Racists in the down south

UGLY S'POREANS TURN RACIST AFTER BEING TOLD OFF FOR CUTTING QUEUE

QUOTE

I need to report a very vicious incident of racism I encountered today because it is so unlike anything I have experienced living in Singapore.

I went for lunch today at a new Japanese tempura restaurant that I saw on Daniel Food Diary. (I love that blog!) I arrived about 20 minutes early and was the first person in the queue. Soon, 8 or 10 others joined me. A few minutes before the restaurant opened, a man and a woman arrived together and cut in front of everyone queueing. I kindly informed the gentleman that there was quite a long queue already. He said, "So? How the hell was I supposed to know that?" I said, "Well, sir, you could look behind you and see all of us standing here waiting."

That's when things got nasty.

He started on a vicious, racist diatribe. He said, "Why are you even here, Ang Mo? You should go back to your country! Or maybe you're too stupid to get a job where you're from? You're probably not even working here. Maybe go rob a bank?"

I said, "Excuse me?"

Then his female companion joined in. She said, "Yeah, look at his dirty, cheap clothes. Get a job, Ang Mo! Or yeah - go rob a bank. You look like you need money."

Wow. Yes, I am Ang Mo. From the States, and very happily living here in Singapore for over 2 years. I've never encountered such nasty, vicious people. I also happen to speak fluent Japanese, so when I sat down, I asked to speak to the Japanese manager and chef. I told them what happened in Japanese. Their staff later confirmed my story. I said, "Imagine if they told you to go back to Japan." They were very apologetic. I told them it's not them who needs to apologize.

In the end, the restaurant allowed us all 3 to stay, but the chef let me eat for free. His way of apologizing for the extremely vicious behavior of the local man and woman.

Afterwards, the man actually chased me out of the restaurant with his camera on. He said, "Hey, Ang Mo! Let's make you famous! Smile for the camera! And let's see if you can find a job here after I'm done with you."

Source: http://www.allsingaporestuff.com/article/u...d-cutting-queue

DAP’s ‘Superman’ slammed for defending China’s claims

PETALING JAYA: DAP’s “Superman” Hew Kuan Yau has been slammed by netizens for a Facebook post he wrote about China’s claims to the South China Sea.
“南海是中國的！不要因為反共而反華 (The South China Sea belongs to China! Don’t oppose China just because you are anti-communist),” Hew wrote today in a terse Facebook post.
He was immediately castigated by Facebook users who disputed China’s “historical claim” to the economic rights of large swaths of the region.

“You are mad! No such thing as historical claim,” netizen Kok Shin Shan commented.
“You may hate BN but don’t disown your country’s sovereign right! I hope this is NOT DAP’s stand as far as SCS disputes are concerned.”
Netizen Alexandra Wales explained the matter for Hew’s benefit, saying that China’s claim to the South China Sea went against Malaysia’s ownership of part of the area and exclusive economic zone.
“Is this how a Malaysian citizen talks?” she asked.
“More importantly, is this what DAP endorses? The question of anti-communism or anti-China does not arise here. This is purely a matter of the law.”

Another netizen, Joe Mamak, questioned whether Hew expected the heated reaction to his statement.
“Did you stop and think how your comments could be used against you and DAP? Didn’t something similar happen recently? (How) your foul mouth got you into trouble as well as it did for DAP?

“Maybe you should really stop and think really, really hard. Are you a liability or an asset to your party.”
Facebook political commentator Lim Sian See shared a screenshot of the post, calling it “borderline treason.”
“It is a very strange declaration and is borderline treason since Malaysia is one of several countries that has a claim on parts of the disputed South China Sea,” Lim wrote in a lengthy post.

Lim sarcastically listed possible excuses for Hew’s post.
“Let’s see if the following excuses will soon be used for this post.
“1) The account is not controlled by me but by unnamed ‘fans’;
“2) ‘Siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas.’ No need to be sensitive about this.
“3) My account got hacked.
“4) Politicians need to be able to take jokes or it will be very boring.
“5) I was misquoted or misunderstood.”

Lim called it another attempt by DAP to focus on “tried and tested race/religion issues” in order to incite hatred and get a reaction from Umno, as well as to retain the party’s Chinese voting base.
“Let’s see if the DAP committee will also similarly clear him over this treasonous post.”
Earlier, CNN reported that the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague had issued a scathing legal rebuke of China’s maritime claims in the South China Sea.
Finding in favour of the Philippines, the court determined that China’s claims were a violation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, an international agreement that specifies the rights of states over the oceans and of which 166 countries are a party, including China.
CNN said the court decided that China’s efforts to build islands far from its shores created no new legal rights and deemed illegal China’s military efforts to exclude the Philippines and other nations from fishing in the region.

Source: http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...-chinas-claims/
