So, I got not many places to talk about this. I'm also curious to know what other people would think/feel about this friend of mine's cerita ba.

This friend..Let's call him Liam and his girlfriend, Mia. They have been together close to 5 years now. Something happened about 1-2 months ago when Liam went to Penang for a trip with his friends.

Mia confessed to Liam saying that she cheated on him with 2 other guys (Info : both guys are from the same company as Mia and she recently transferred to one of the guy's team for work). She wanted a break from Liam cause she said she have feelings for one of the guys (Let's call him Ken) and time to figure out what she wants. Liam told her that he's willing to compromise to work on this (Meaning to forgive her and forget about what she did). So, okay ba, both pun on the break for 2-3 weeks. Funny thing was Liam started texting another girl, Sher. Somehow, Mia found out and broke the silence, texted Liam saying 'Wah, not bad la. You got new friend. So are you gonna go to her house and xxxx her?'. He replied 'She's just a friend. What's your problem? I'm fine BTW thanks for asking'. They both argued via texting and then went into cold silence mode again. Somehow, she managed to make the situation into like Liam forced her to cheat on him.

After another 2-3 weeks, Liam confessed to Sher, saying that he likes her. Tapi Sher rejected him, saying that he doesn't like her or have a crush on her cause his feelings are just saje saje since Sher was there to talk to him at the right time when he was feeling vulnerable/lonely/emotionally unstable. So, tak pe. Sher and Liam's case closed. Both are still friends and still hang out together.

Fast forward to September, Mia and Liam got back together (Mia said that she's very sure that she can fall in love with Liam again and willing to do whatever it takes). So, Liam moved back in with Mia macam biasa. But slowly, some funny thing is happening....like Mia likes to play badminton (Company's team also got badminton night...tapi Ken is in the team to play for fun). Liam told Mia that he's not comfortable with her playing badminton with the team for the time being (Since they play until quite late also). Another story is Mia don't like Liam to vape/smoke, insist that he quit immediately and stop drinking/drink less (For health purpose). So he also layan and do whatever he can to compromise.

Liam and Sher are still hanging out or text each other every day, talking like friends la. Mia confronted Liam about it, saying that she's not happy that he looks happy when he is texting Sher and it doesn't make sense to why they text each other daily like best/good friends. So Liam told her that there is nothing going on between he and Sher and she can read the texts if she wants to since he got nothing to hide from her. When Liam hangs out with Sher, Mia will keep texting him asking him where is he, send photos, how long are they gonna be there, when he is coming home, etc.

So now hor, i feel like my friend is mangsa but a very silly mangsa la. He said he loved her very much that he can change for her. But actually, what i want to know is...is this kind of relationship after such event..sustainable? Or will it end up ugly where both parties will try to...suffocate one another?
