AIA Vitality for Celebrity Fitness

Subscribing to AIA Vitality plan grants a discount to Fitness First membership fees as well as cashback benefits. As most of you would know, Fitness First management has merged with Celebrity Fitness just last year. I have an AIA Vitality membership as part of my corporate employee benefit. However, I would much prefer to sign up under Celebrity Fitness for convenience sake as they have a branch near my home.

On Fitness First's online page for dual membership https://www.fitnessfirst.com.my/membership/dual-access , there is a disclaimer that states

However, existing Fitness First members who choose to upgrade to the Dual Access Package may still earn AIA Vitality Points and enjoy the Cashback benefit for visits to Fitness First clubs only. The disclaimer above only applies for dual memberships. But what if I only want a CF membership, would I still be able to receive the discounted membership rate using AIA Vitality? If that is not possible, I was wondering if anyone here knows of a loophole or method that I can use to get the discounted membership fee on a CF membership.

Keyboard Problem

I've been experiencing a problem with my laptop keyboard for close to a year.
Currently using a HP Pavillion dm4.
What happens is whenever there is a windows update for my laptop after I reboot it,
the letters in the keyboard do not type out the words that I want too and types out random words in the keyboard.

For example, pressing "j" key will be the same as pressing "Enter" , "m" becomes " nh,"
and for the other keys too.

I tried rebooting my comp again but the problem still persists, usually the problem goes off about 24hrs++ later (Unknown reason)

This problem happens in any program that is being run on my computer.
E.g. Microsoft word, web browsers, notepad, "Search" function on the start screen, even the chat box in games that I play.

Then the same problem happens again when there is a windows update.

Really troublesome as I'm a programming student and need to use the keyboard alot.

OS : Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Unifi lagging badly

Ever since I subscribed to the Unifi VIP10 package during March (10 mbps), I was really happy that I would not have to go through the unbelievable lag of streamyx again. But I thought wrong. If you think streamyx is lag, wait till you get Unifi.

For the first few weeks after registering, the connection was smooth and really fast, my average latency would range between 6ms to 10ms, download speeds could reach up to 1200kb/s and testing my speed at www.speedtest.net would also show both my download and upload speed to be 10mbps. My ping in SA would show 5 bars most of the time. But after the third week or so, I felt the connection getting worse. Disconnections started to occur more and more often and the latency just continued getting worse. And this has continued on since the third week until right now. Although the download speed isn't as fast as it used to be, it's still bearable(only 1/10 of original speed). However, this is not the case for my latency which decides the stability of online gaming. The issue I'm facing now is not about the speed, it's about the latency / ping. Let me just show you how bad my situation really is. (Too many Request Timed Out in a row will make you dc)

Playing Sudden Attack / DotA / HoN / LoL / MW2 or whatever game makes you feel like you are in hell, you would be teleporting / spiking constantly with heavy delay. Then everything just flashes and happens so quickly, you won't know what the **** just happened around you. Even browsing through the forums takes me from 10 seconds (if im lucky) to 1-3 minutes to load a page.

I have made a complaint to their Customer Service (CS) about 2 weeks ago, they told me that they would sent a repairman / technician to check out the problem and said that they will call up again before they send him. And so I waited for 1 whole week and there were no calls. I called them up again, and again the same reply from them, "We will call you again before we send the technician over to your house". And so another week has passed and nothing happened. To make things worse, they would always put your call on hold when you want to make a complain, sometimes lasting up to 10minutes which I remembered, my phone literally got hot from that incident. Perhaps this is a way for the CS to avoid receiving complaints from customers in a hope that those making the complaints would hang up on the phone.

And now for the details for you all to know, when they installed the Unifi, they brought along a Modem and a Router, the Modem is connected to a big fat white cable (fibre optic cable I presume) a telephone line, and an ethernet cable which is connected to the router. (*Note* the modem is not wireless, there are 2 seperate hardwares, the modem and a wireless router both with Unifi brand) and of course HYPP TV too which is sort of like Astro but a noober version of it, I won't be mentioning about this.

And 1 more thing to mention, even my previous streamyx conection which was the 4mbps package was lagging extremely bad compared to my other friends that only subscribed to the 1mbps package and could play smoothly most of the time. I do not know whether the cause of it could be because of the wiring, the area I live or just plain TM's fault, but nevertheless I'll just let you all know that my house is sort of on a hill (though not really a high one, but almost the highest compared to the other houses), Section 5 if u all know where it is, close to Bangsar and beside Bukit Gasing. And my connection is using wifi, so I'm unsure whether the problem lies with the router / modem itself.

So then again, I hope that anyone who has information regarding this matter would kindly state to me the possible solutions and causes of this problem. (other than going directly to their office to complain which I will be doing soon)

Lost replacement IC

Hi guys,

I'm in serious need of help. At first I lost my I.C together with my wallet as I left my wallet in my classroom, so I went to the ''Bangunan Persekutuan'' (dunno what you call it in English) to apply for a new I.C (Lost for the first time), they gave me a temporary I.C. (it's a slip of paper with thumbprints and personal details) and told me that the new I.C would take 2-4 weeks to be processed and that they would inform me when it's finished. So just last week, which was the 4th week after applying for my new I.C, I had to give my replacement I.C to the clerk at my driving school to photostat it so that they can submit the photostated I.C to JPJ for me to collect my license. After that, I'm not sure if I had collected my temporary I.C back from the clerk (damn my poor memory), and just today which is the 5th week after I applied for my new I.C, I found out that my temporary I.C has also gone missing.

My problem now is if I were to go back to the ''Bangunan Perseketuan'' and collect my new I.C., what document can I proof or show so that I will be eligible to collect my new I.C., and if somehow they will only accept the original copy of my temporary I.C for me to collect my new I.C, what should I do? Apply for a new replacement I.C ? Lodge a police report ?

Hope all you kind souls out there can give me a solution regarding this matter.
