Personal equipment
Modem: Wireless G ADSL2+Router DSL-2640B
Router: Wireless G ADSL2+Router DSL-2640B
Firewall used: Firmware Version: GE_1.07

Problem details
First occurence of problem: When the IT guy install for me,this problem occur
Problem frequency: When the IT guy install for me,this problem occur
Problem description: Can't connect to wireless but no problem for Lan ports except don't set the security mode

when the TM IT guy install for me(he only set the router 4 me),this problem occur, i call him, he did not answer my call until now

I have no problem to connect with 4 of the lan ports but can not connect to wireless connection (but no problem with the another router 4 maxis broanband) except i did not set the Security Mode to WPA.....but ppl can connect it

any idea to solve this issue? TQ

deal all, how can I disable the smoke sensor......in my hse (which developer install it last time)
esp this is in 3rd flr the ceiling area .....insteads of removing the smoke sensor, where can I disable it just like the alarm system?

When shall I pay the differential sum to lawyer?

after signed s&p agreement last week, paid 10% (RM50k) booking fee my lawyer ask me to pay differential sum RM100K (S&P price RM500k - RM50k(10%) - loan sum RM350k) to him immediately ...........plus stamp duty ..................but when i refer to the banker, he told me only pay that differential sum when the frist drawdown (after 2 to 3 mths) bank pay to vendor's bank to settle his loan amount.......................

question arises: if i pay the differential sum Rm100k now to laywer's firm s stakeholder............will the lawyer's firm earn the interest at the expense of me
if the banker is right since I will give up the interest from FD for that amount

anyone can gude me in this regards?

How to calculate the build up (sf)?

I am a bit confuse about the calculation of the build up

eg
if it is the 2 or 2.5 sty terrace house
with the same land area: 20 x 70 &
luas lot :130 meter persegi
the build up shall be 130 x 10.764 (in order to get the square feet )= about 1400 sf
so, does it mean 2 or 2.5 sty terrace house also have the 1400 sf build up? or more for 2.5 sty terrace house ?
anyone can confirm this ? TQ

first time I want to buy the house....hope you can guide me
I would like to know how long it take for you to sell/buy the house based on your past eperience in the past?
I want to sell my present 2 sty terrace (my family occupied under my parent's name & fully setteled) and buy 2.5/3 sty terrace to move in (2nd hand but vacant)., the question is: I only want to borrow 25~30% of the value of the new property & hope to use the money of selling the present property to settle the other 75~70% .
Is it likely to happen ? Assuming the present 2 sty terrace is in the good location than the new one...but until now I did not ask the agent to sell my present house but only shop around to view the new house...

Appreciate if you can guide me in this regard.... Thank you

After I formated my HD & install the win xp again..........problem arise when i want to connect to maxis wireless moderm.

SM Bus Controller and Other PCI Bridge Devices Driver need to update but i can not get the right driver....help!

I noticed that i need to get the driver from my pc's motherboard to solve this problem from other forum

but i do not have it & do not sure what model i have ...jut know it is winfast (brought it in 2005 Dec)

how can i check with this in order to download it from the net? Already open it but i just saw "winfast" motherboard with GeForce2 MX 400 Pro VGA

Bios (graphic card), by the way, i did not install this driver as well............Any help would be great.
