Hi all, does anyone here have any experiences of buying / acquiring a franchise business from the previous owner / franchisee?

Since there are many parties to be involved in the transaction - dealing with previous owner, master franchise, landlord, etc.

Just wondering what are the processes are like? What should be done first and so on?

Hey guys, do you guys know anywhere I can still exchange my old £10 notes?

Just realised that the Bank of England has issued a new £10 note and that the old note will no longer be accepted. Checked with a number of money changer outlets - none are willing to accept the old note anymore.

Problem with my Proton Wira

I'm facing some problems with my Proton Wira lately. Just got it serviced last month.

At first, the car hesitates some times when it was idle. I thought it was normal because it's a pretty old car, more than 15 years old now, and it used to hesitate when the engine was cold but will be okay after driving a while. Then, the car hesitation starts to happen quite frequently now whenever the car stopped or was idle.

And I also notice that sometimes, the air conditioner wasn't cold at first, until I've driven a certain distance only it started to puff cold air. It's happening very frequently now along with the hesitations.

Could it be an issue with the wiring? Because last month I've also installed a new remote for the car as the old one is no longer functioning. The problem was the technician wasn't as experienced as I thought he was and he ended up cutting the electricity to my gearbox or something, causing my car not being able to switch gears when I was driving. Brought it back to the foreman who serviced my car and he found that out. In the end, we got another technician to come over to rewire the car.

Now that this problem came up, I'm wondering if it could be wiring problems again? Or could it be another problem entirely?

Just wanted to check with you guys because I'm currently in outstation and I'd probably need to get my car checked with a foreman or a wireman that I'm not familiar with.

Hope you guys can give me some opinions so that I know what to expect and not get cheated for fixing something that's not broken.

Does anyone here knows where I could rent or borrow a pregnancy simulator? I've tried looking online but not much in Malaysia. I wonder whether hospitals here in Malaysia have any equipment that they would use to create a simulation on pregnancy? The only product that I came across is the Empathy Belly and it is not cheap. I just want to rent it for a campaign that I am organising. Any help would be most appreciated.
