Choose Qualifying examination by MIA or ACCA

Dear all sifu and expert,

In order to get higher position, a lot of companies request me to take professional certificate or become member of accountancy body in Malaysia. I have degree of accountancy in UK, but finished it in Malaysia that MIA and MICPA do not recognize it. Thus, I start ACCA.

ACCA allowed me to exempt only 7 papers, which 2 more papers in Skills Module and 5 papers in professional level. I have passed one paper and another paper pending to mark (it may pass) in Skills Module. I still have all paper in professional level (i.e. 5 papers) which I found difficult to process due to english skill problem.

Thus, I ask MIA for alternative. They told me I can take Qualifying Examination (QE) by MIA which is just 4 papers that may easier to pass than ACCA professional level.

After all, I hope Sifu and expert can help me to comment on the selection.

Where is Toyota - Vios manufactured from?

I am planning to buy a toyota vios car within this coming 2 month, but I afraid the new car quality are affected by earthquarke and flood. I have asked toyota salesman, some salesman say toyota vios from thailand, so need some time to get a car. Another salesman say from japan and finally the other salesman say the vios is manufactured from Indonesia.

So where is toyota vios car manufactured from?

Ford, Nissan, Honda or toyota?

I am planning to buy a new car, but I dont know which following car I should select within my requirement.

My requirement:
1. new car < RM90K
2. durable period < 10 years, no major problem within 5 years.
3. low fuel consumption.
4. good shape.
5. comfortable seat and better suspension.
6. better safety system.

Car selected:
1. Toyota vios
2. Ford fiesta
3. Honda city
4. Nissan latio
5. Others if you have other car in your mind within my requirement.

I heard someone say the flood in thailand will affect the quality of toyota and honda car, is it truth?

Any above car owner please share your experience here.

Law vs M'sian application for Land

Long time ago, a land about 2 acres is not belong to anyone and my grandfather has took it to do a plantation. Currently, the land has been passed to my mother (my father pass away and pass it to her), she rent it to her tenant.

Now, someone who is one of the political member, say he can help our villages who have a land without strata title as the above land belong to my mother, to get the strata title, but the political member will just apply half of the land for strata title and the other half will belong to the political member.

Somemore, we need to pay RM600 for drawing fees of 2 acres land [actually the drawing fee pay to one person who help all villages to draw the whole land (thousand acres)], then the draft will pass to the political member to do process.

My question is,
1. Under National Land Code (NLC) 1965, the NLC who govern land ownership in Peninsular Malaysia, does not recognise the common law concept of “adverse possession,” something which is alien to the Torrens system. How can the political member apply the strata title?

2. Gambling on paying RM600 for drawing fee. Actually RM600 is nothing to us if compare to 1% successful chance on 50% of the strate title.
But i scare the future maybe the trouble. let's say, political member really help us and try to apply with some high senior level officer, but the officer suit us for bribery, how? What will happen to me? penalty me and go to prison?

How do i clean the fan in my laptop

I have purchase compaq laptop abt 2 years ago. I find my pc overheat and wan to clean the fan in my compaq laptop.

any sifu or expert, pls tell me which screw i shd remove to find the fan and clean it, because i scare i have remove wrong screw which make my laptop gone. Is it truth that we cant remove all the screw of laptop?

PC auto off

My laptop has been used about 2 and half years. Recently my PC automatic off. When start it again, it off again. I need to wait about 30 mins or more and switch it on, then it can be used. The problem is why the computer will automatic switch off. Could it be low battery on motherboard which i see the battery on desktop pc, i dont know laptop got or not.

HP notebook problem

I have bought a HP notebook 3 years ago, i find few question need to ask,

1. Is it restore faster than format and install all software again? and how long it take for restore or format and install?
2. what is the step by step for restore? should i use DVD-R or CD-R? is it true that CD-R need 2 disk? actually i try one time by follow the HP step by step, it take me i think abt 3 hour, end up 2 CD-R cant use.
3. Is it restore need to format also? i.e. format 1st, then do restore.

trade in price for wira

i want to buy myvi or viva due to save fuel, but i need trade in my old car (wira aeroback 1.6XLI - auto, made in 2000, dark green). I ask the perodua saleman, he call the proton and say trade in price is RM8K - 9K only.

I think everyone know the relationship btw the expect return and risk, like higher risk normally come with higher return. But have u think about how to calculate the level of risk? Can u tell the second investment is risker than first investment?

Today i hear from one of the CIMB INVESTMENT manager say CIMBISLAMIC this month introduce one product call "7-YEAR CALLABLE ISLAMIC RANGE ACCRUAL NID-I" which this week will given 6.80% for all the investor. But the manager say this product will change the interest every week.

Any expert or any pro investor pls give comment and what is the risk for this product. Someone in CIMB investment bank give me comfirmation on this product whether is truth or not.
