Serverfreak is indeed a freak

I'm experiencing an extremely disappointing service from Serverfreak. Maybe they were the best but not anymore. I just came aware that one of my website was shut down due to no payment and sorry to say that i have not received any notifications in my email. And it's quite horrible that they're arguing they sent the email but the same email account is suspended.

And now when i contacted their support, after almost an hour of no help at all they told me to contact the billing department. The billing department named Zura. I told her all i wanted was my files in the server to be copied to me or as a courtesy just transfer to another server which i have hosted with you. She replied asking me where she wants to transfer my files. So i rushly bought a shared hosting as a COURTESY to have business still with Serverfreak.

After purchasing the hosting, she replied she can't transfer the files and wants me to pay those pending payments on the suspended server which i have no idea on when they started to suspend it as i told them i did not receive any emails and calls. And believe me i've made prompt payments before and i just dont see why they cant work with me on this. All i want is my old files copied to the new hosting i purchased from them TOO. It's not too much to ask and most of the time their billing and support just ignored my request instead of working things out.

To hosters, please maintain your customer service quality. Please understand my predicament and all i want is for them to work things out with me. I've had similar issues with exabyte before and they managed to sort it out with me. I envy Exabyte for still maintaining their repo up till today. Such a simple matter and they can't work things out with me. Sorry to vent it out here guys, but serverfreak just knows how to dig money from your wallet instead of asking it nicely.

Data Recovery

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed but through my search, i can't find anything related to data recovery. My HDD just crashed and now it's not detected in BIOS. Do you guys know any computer shop which could retrieve my data in the HDD? I've heard of this but I don't know where to send it to. If it's possible give me a range of how much it would cost. Thanks.
