Gate pillar moss issues

Hi, need the sifu's advice here. Anybody knows how to deal with the moss issues inside the gate pillar (where all you thick cable/wire running through)? I am afraid it will damage the cable/wire somehow.

Need to know:
1. How to remove it safely?
2. How to prevent (or at least reduce) the moss grows back again?

Thanks.

Which water pipe for house with water pump and hea

My house is DSL and with water pump and heater tank. The current piping is ABS and upstairs start leaking here and there.

Plan to renovate the house. However some contractors suggested to use UPVC class 7, some suggested to use poly pipe.

Due to the budget, I am not considering copper and stainless steel. What I understand so far:
1. UPVC - comparatively cheap, need to use good glue for the joint, easy to maintain
2. Poly piple - use o ring, joint cannot be put underground cause it might get loose, theoretically can handle hot water and water pressure than UPVC

Can anybody suggest what to use:
Meter to carporch?
Meter to kitchen?
Ground floor to second floor?
Piping for ground floor bathroom?
Piping for second floor bathroom?

Thanks.
