Hi all, Happy New Year ~

I’m John, was quite a long time member in LYN ( Since 2005 )

For the last 10 years , I was expose in Entrepreneurship & Corporate Advisory

During MCO, I was invited to become one of the Mentor / Judge for an Pitching Competition

From there I got invited & jumped into the world of Capital & Investment

Last Year I helped Business & Entrepreneur Successfully raised more than RM 25 M, involving projects near to RM 500 M

By the last quarter of 2022, Me and few of my partners are setting up our VC Firm, we’ve already registered ourselves with SC , our VC licensed will be released soon

I have an idea of creating an investor club / community. The whole club / community can:
1. Members can submit any projects / idea to pitch or get coaching from the club / community . ( Bind by proper contract of coz )

2. Members can invest or approach projects that in the club / community

3. Club / Community act as an filter / due diligence system for any said projects or related matters

Well this is a rough idea for the moment, welcome any input

Recently met a Dato sri, hold few listed company on hand.

We were discussing on fund raising and listed issues.

Suddenly he told me that he recently just opened an Direct selling for his brother that just came back from China, and asked me whether I know any Leaders in this industry to speed up the business. I just smile and reply let me think think ya 🤣

Just wondering since there is a lot of investment options outside, is there still people looking on doing Direct Selling / MLM? 🤔
