I wanted to transfer out of maxis to unifi.
Old plan:
30Mbps RM89
New plan from unifi
100Mbps RM89

Got all the transfer form everything, maxis counter me last minute and said we give you same speed with unifi, but price remain at RM89.

Took up their offer.

LAN speed 90+Mbps
WiFi speed on laptop and phone 30-40Mbps. Still using same modem and router from maxis. No change in router.

I am planning to put some money into a local US foreign account to hold so that when USD increases, I won't be shocked.

I don't care about interest rates as most Foreign account gives miserable interest. The point is if US reaches 1USD = RM4, my USD in the bank account will still be 1USD = RM3.76. Hi Sifus,

Please guide me. I am looking to get myself an external hard disk with min 750GB or max 2TB. But I am not going to buy one with a ready 2TB. These are my plans. Which one is better for me?

INT 3.5 HDD + enclosure > WD Cavier Black 2TB (5 years warranty )
INT 2.5 HDD + enclosure > WD Scorpio Black 750GB (5 years warranty )
EXT 2.5 HDD > WD Elements 2TB (not sure about warranty for this drive )

The reason you do not see me asking about WD Passport Ultra is because those WD Passport comes with WD smartware where after formating the drive, you still cannot get back the space occpuied by the stupid program. I pay for full storage. Not for partial storage.

Hi,

I would like to know where can I buy WD Scorpio Black 500GB 2.5" SATA HDD for notebook below RM180? I found one on lelong.com.my for RM195 including delivery. I was thinking whether anyone know where I can get a cheaper one? I am staying in Klang Valley.
If you know anyone or any websites or any shop selling below RM180, please let me know.
