Guys, i'm actually struggling making choice on them, could you guys provide me some feedback on this? I need your suggestion and advise for me before i getting either one of them.

I am working more on programming, web surfing, general purpose, versatile performance and light gaming. I wished the weight could be light enough for me carry to university everyday, battery life is important to me, keyboard as well and the most important thing is it need to be fast for works! 2. Budget
My budget is around 2k to 3k. If it exceed 3k, doesn't matter, as long as it's worth to buy.

3. Usage

Diploma Final Project

Display adapters

After i format my laptop, it seems like everything is different, maybe because of the display adapters.
I am using Acer - Aspire 5741G as i had note on the topic description, i can only manage to change my Screen Resultution to 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Besides, when i try to change my Screen Saver, it display a message on the screen which is "The screen saver can't run because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct3D."

And when i trying to open Warcraft III, it was unable to load and go through the games.
But when i open Device Manager and check my Display Adapter, Standard VGA Graphics Adapter is there, i try to uninstall it and install a newer version Graphics Card, but i failed to do that because everytime after i uninstall the graphic card, my OS will restart and it will detect Standard VGA Graphics Adapter automatically after my windows finished boot up.

Can anyone please tell me what happen to my LAPTOP?

Problem [Screen Saver]

When i try to change my screen saver, an error message pop up,
The screen saver can't run because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct3D.
So which driver should i download from acer website?

And my sleep button is deactivated, i couldn't sleep my laptop. Please help me to solve the problem.

Ethernet Controller and DirectX

Guys, please help me!
My ethernet controller doesn't work properly after i re-format my laptop.
I didn't get any disc for installing the driver when i bought my laptop.
When i go to device manager and try to update my driver by searching the internet, it display a message:"
Windows was unable to install your Ethernet Controller.
Windows could not find driver software for your device.
If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software. "

So, any website can download Ethernet Controller Driver for my laptop which is Acer Aspire 5741G.

Besides, when i trying to run my Warcraft, Frozen Throne. A message was pop up: "
Warcraft III was unable to initialize DirectX. Please ensure you have DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current. DirectX may be found on your Warcraft III install CD under Options. "
I already install DirectX for my laptop which is the latest version - DirectX 11. But when i try to run my Warcraft III again, it still display the same message. Any idea to solve this problem?

I'm using Windows 7 - Ultimate!
Model - Acer Aspire 5741G.

Laptop >= RM2400 && <= RM2600, any idea?

I'm doing some research for my assignment, i have to compare either 2 or 3 laptop and select the best laptop. Any mobile computer is between RM2400 & RM2600, please tell me the model and i will search it.
