Late 20-something Chinese dude here.

I met another woman online, and for the past couple of weeks she's very keen to chat with me everyday. After all, she claimed that she's interested in me too. However, whenever I try to invite her out, she always rejects it with various reasons such as her outstation work demands (she works far away and only return during weekends), weekend events, having to rest...etc.

I expressed my dissatisfaction earlier and she agreed to meet another day. So this week I attempted to invite her out again. But again, I was greeted with the same resistance. Only when I suggest the following day, she agree to going out for a lunch with me without much enthusiasm.

Am I right to think that she sees me as a guy best-friend instead of a potential partner? After all if she's remotely interested in me, she'd have take the opportunity to meet me irl?

Tint shop that could reliably remove rear tint

Quick question about travelling to Taiwan

Hi,

Is it still necessary to book hotel in advance before going to Taiwan? Will Immigration demand any hotel booking receipt to know the purpose of our travel?

Aside from that, is there anything else we need to prepare aside from flight ticket and passport?

I'm planning to stay at Taiwan for about 7 to 8 days.

Fixing minor curb rash on bumper

First time kena while parking because I didn't notice the knee high curb ahead at night. Its about 2 or 3cm long. I know its just a minor scrape but I still sayang my car so I'd love to get it fixed.

Work at TRX, where to stay near MRT route?

I might work near TRX tower in the future so I'm planning to find a place to stay along the Putrajaya MRT route. Aiming to spend around 800 for a a room.

Do you guys have any suggestions for places around the vicinity? I'm eyeing the stations before UPM.

Strange issue

This has occured a number of times with different people so it leads me to believe that the issue lies within myself instead of others.

Often times it goes like this:
Me: Oh yeah so about the...(half way through my sentence)
Friend: (Looking at me, then suddenly someone interject, immediately ignores me and talk with the other person)
Me: ... (left hanging, forced to stop awkwardly)

I fared better in a 1-to-1 conversation with other people, but when the group gets bigger, I feel like I'm always being sidelined as people ignore me to talk to the others.

I suspect that I'm simply not speaking loud enough, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I'm missing.

I'd like to think of myself as an extrovert since I like to meet new people, but my social skill is severly lacking so it's handicapping me in a lot of social situation.

Apologies if there are too many SPM thread floating around, I just wish to have something more than anecdotal advice from people around me. Here's my result, I am non-bumi btw.

Bahasa - A-
English - A (GCE-O 2A)
P.Moral - B+ (going to send it for recheck)
Sejarah - A+
Maths - A+
Arts - A+
Add. Maths - B
Engineering Drawing - A-
Physics - A-
Chemistry - A

As you can see, it's not too bad, but not spectacular either, Anyway here are my questions.

1. If I apply for UPU, will it affect the odds of me getting into matrik?

2. Is it true that UPU only offer diploma for SPM-grad? Is the duration of the diploma affected by anything, such as SPM result?

3. I'm still unsure about what course I should take in the future, sadly maths is not something I'm really passionate about. On the other hand I do kinda like art a lot, chemistry is also one of the subject I actually enjoy, too. Any opinion? Although I probably won't go for pure art course, since I believe I can take care of that and get good by learning those skill myself.

4. Just checked my BSN form for UPU, I noticed that Category B is stated on the paper instead of Category A, is this a mistake or something else? FYI Category B's for 2012-2013 SPM taker while Category A's for 2014 SPM taker.

5. Is STPM still the to-go option for non-bumi like me if everything else fails? I'm ok with it but teachers I met just now suggest me to try to apply for something else such as UPU and matrik instead of STPM.

That's all as far as I can remember for now, I appreciate any assistance!

Hi guys, Currently I got a FSP Hexa 500w, with Pentium G860 on AsRock H61M/U3S3, the motherboard provide me with a 8 pin socket, but the PSU got a 4+4 pin connector instead. The system is running fine as of now, but I would like to know, is two 4 pin connector similar compared to a 8 pin connector? Can I plug two of them into a 8 pin CPU power socket?

BIOS flash a must for Ivy Bridge?

Hello, yesterday people at LYN recommend me to go for Ivy Bridge (i3 3220) for my upgrade. But I found out that a mobo with older BIOS will have to flash the BIOS to latest version with a Sandy Bridge CPU first, in order to make the mobo compatible with Ivy Bridge? Is this true? If so, should I go for Sandy Bridge CPU (i3 2100/2120) instead?

For mobo, Should I go for H61 or B75 instead? I'm thinking of Foxconn B75M (RM199) at first, although their website didn't state the Ivy Bridge i3 in their supported CPU, the Ivy Bridge i5 and i7 are stated as supported? I also got ECS H61H2-M3 (RM145) in my mind, because of the availability PCI slot and price.

and a EnLight 350W PSU (Not Cap Ayam), If I upgrade, do I need to change PSU too?
