Resigned after 10 years

So i was with this MNC company for more than 10 years and decided to quit and jump ship to a medium consultant firm. I've more than 16 years of work experience too..

Reason is :

1. After 10 years my basic salary is still consider underpaid in my line

2. Management prefer to promote fresh face and newbies

3. Working environment is becoming toxic

4. My own career development is being halt by my management

5. Lack of manpower is getting worse - i'm doing a 4 person jobs at the moment

6. I started to lost the passion and joy in my works

But the good news is new company is paying me more than 1.5k different. Plus the workplace is just 5-10min commute from my house. Current one is 30min unless i need to go to site then become 1hour plus.

I'm scared (probably coz jumping ship from top gun to lil gun) but at the same time happy as finally leaving this environment. A lil bit unsettling feeling coz i dunno how the new place gonna be also..

Wish me luck peeps and please share any similar experience u have similar to me ?

Haii girls..

Can suggest to me the best sandals or selipar to wear daily like to go bazaar or market and malls. Usually wear it more than 2 hour of walking.

Occasionally need to lari lari anak to catch my lil rugrats.

I've wear Ipanema a lot but i notice their soles tend to be very slippery. Now wearing Dr Kong sandals. Comfy but not really my taste and its like a wedges so after some walk my leg become tired.

Eyeing Fit Flops and Birkenstock. Can u girls suggest me based on experience.

My ex boss from consultant firm suddenly called me up and say he wanted to make his Non Exec Director of a Construction Company. Mostly do roadworks..

He says been trying to contact me but i change my number (which is true).

He's a nice guy but i still found it fishy. Most probably he need my name for the Bumiputera works tender (i think). And he claim he knew me that's why he prefer to choose me.

I know there's the risk of letting him use my name and details. As i'm currently working with another Construction company (very big in Malaysia) and i have to declare if i'm having any outside jobs like this.

With AMLA also there's the risk of letting them use my details.

Kindly advise me on this matter.

Let's look at his achievements:

1. Got elected for 22 years.Longer than all the past PMs combined.
2. Made all his sworn political enemies kiss his ass especially ANWAR IBRAHIM WHO had been leading an opposition against him even unto his retirement from 1998.
3. Got elected PM for the second time.The only individual in the world to achieve this.
4. There are rumours that his first 4 children are billionaires.BILLIONAIRES.Just think about that.Not even Bill Gates who's the world's “official” richest person's kids are billionaires let alone 4 (I don't know how many kids Bill Gates have but I'm just showing you an example here). Also there's a list that showed the top world leaders who collected “corrupt money”. Mahathir was second before his name “mysteriously” disappeared.
5. And refer to Point 4. His “sudden massive wealth” started from 1981 continuing to this year 2019 and he along with his family still isn't busted.

He may not be the “smartest” but I'd say he's pretty darn smart.

If Genius IQ is above 160. Can Tun M easily achieved 180 ?

Rota Virus

Recently i went back hometown (Penang), went to seaside & eat local foods like usual.

My boy age 1 & 3 years old..ate a bit hawker food but not much.

After 3 days there, the eldest started vomiting non stop until lembik. He got admitted into Adventist Penang.

Then the nightmare started :

1. In hospital he start having high fever, he was so scared to eat anything coz keep vomiting.

2. Then he started cirit birit smpai everytime also his bedsheet kena change (bout 3-4 time daily).

3. Doctor said his liver infected.

So i decided to take him back to KL for better care (Adventist Penang services is too slow plus not hygiene). Transfer him from Adventist Penang to Sime Darby Medical Center in Desa Parkcity.

No regrets coz the services & doctor is superb

The nightmare continue :

4. After got back from Penang, during travel the lil bro pulak started vomiting non stop in car.

5. End up both my son hospitalized. Both cirit birit, high fever & vomiting non stop

6. Doctor takes their stool for lab test.

7. Confirm is ROTA VIRUS

8. Rota virus no cure (antibiotic) so only hook on IV for water + potassium.

Gladly to say, they're both cured now. Thanx to the healthcare of SM Hospital & Dr. Liew Pei Sze

Mummies, do take note that this Rota Virus sangat easy to jangkit..me myself also almost kena. Its a pain to see our kids hooked up to IV and so on

Hi..

Neighbour's truck that is parked every day in our little street. It is illegal to park any truck of this size in a residential street.

It obstructs the view of traffic in the street, obstructing Rapid bus lane & is beside a school.

Previously a JPJ person did came but i think he got 'payment' from the truck driver then act as if nothing happened. Can i report to JPJ..again..?

Owhh yaa..truck tu besar..yang bawak vehicles on it.. Then sometimes akan ada more than one.

So..my brother owes me money..he dont wanna pay up. I call & SMS no answer or any reply..as if he dissapper from the earth d

He used my name as guarantor for personal loan..now not paying the loan..bank calling me..

My parents says just let it go la..he's a family..sorang susah..satu family suma susah.

He lived with them..now already 25 y.o..working..but no car or own home yet.

Yeahh..my situation is abit f***ed up..enlighten me with your opinion dear /k/

Heii moms..

My baby boy just turned 1 y.o & he's super hyper active till he's asleep.

Recently just learn to walk already started running & falling down a lot.

However, my concern is..he falls down head first a lot

Like yesterday..he fall 3 time before bedtime coz he's super sleepy but still wanna play. He cried until he slept.. Had a ping pong size 'benjol' on his head & a few scratches. My god..i fil like crying also..that must have hurt badly

So mummies..plz advise..we already look out for him all the time & falling down is normal for kids (my friend says) but head first ?
