Hi,

Yesterday just upgrade to Unifi. But i fail to do port forwarding on the dlink router.

The Dlink router's model is DIR615 with firmware 7.09

Greeting send to you all.

Our Cybercafe - Metro Net Multimedia Internet Cybercafe which located at kepong will run a small competition event for warcraft 3 Dota All star. 2008 July 27. (Sunday) Afternoon 1pm until Night.

This is a small event and only accept 8 teams to enter the competition.

Anyone using this 2 AP?? Dlink-DWLG700AP and DWL-2100AP.
Can share ur setup experience on using this 2 products?
What purpose of using this 2 products? It is only as Access Point?
Somebody try other function such as repeater, Wireless Distribution Signal WDS and etc??
Can share the experience?? THanks

Extend Wireless Network Signal

Hi, I got an Aztech ADSL 2/2+ READY WIRELESS LAN 802.11g 4 PORT ETHERNET USB COMBO ROUTER (DSL 600EW) which currently using at home. This modem is connected to streamyx. I use it as wireless to link up other labtop. But when go 2nd floor, the signal is very very weak. So, i decided to buy an access point to extend the signal to 2nd floor. Then, i buy an Access point - D- Link DWL-G700AP > High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Access Point.

The default gateway for Aztech DSL 600EW is 192.168.1.1, but for the D-Link DWL-G700AP 192.168.0.50.

How i can configure to link up this 2 device? I m no experience on extend wifi network signal, can somebody show me some tutorial?

Question:
1. Is that the access point can extend the wifi from the Aztech wifi modem?
2. Is that i only need configure 1 time to the access point? Then can let it stand alone to a side and help to extend the signal to 2nd floor? No need plug any lan cable to any device is it?
3. How to configuration on it?
