But &#39;m using it as external (put it in an external case,connect <br />via usb). 5 days back it accidently fell from the chair. But the thing is, the hdd didn&#39;t hit the ground- before hitting I caught<br />it (at that time it was in running condition). But the hdd is well shaked. After that when I connect it to my pc/lap,the hdd is <br />running but it is not accessible by the system. After 1 minute system will show either &#39;not accessible&#39; or &#39;format drive&#39;. Not<br />showing its properties also (ie: hdd is running but I can&#39;t enter to it). A small creepy noise also appear after this incident <br />(this noise occur only when I connect it to pc/lap, other time no unwanted noises). I think the noise is from the board of <br />the hdd or near from it. I tried directly in pc- no effect. <br /><br /><br /> My valuable data, movies &amp; music collection around 600gb is in this hdd. If the files are missing its equal to<br /> killing me. So please please please help me with your valuable ideas to come out of this tragedy. I want to correct the hdd <br />or recover the files from it.
