Which second hand proton to get?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to get a second hand car soon, next month. Please note that I am from Kuching, Sarawak, so prices will be higher compared to peninsular, and I am going to be buying from my friends dealership, so he will give me a good price, but his selection is somewhat limited.

Currently he has a 2014 Saga FLX, but with 94k km on it. He's selling it to me for around rm23k. There's a persona, I think year is 2013 around 27k there about. And lastly he just had a 2012 Preve turbo in at around 30k. Sorry didn't check the mileages on the persona and preve, but is less than the saga.

I'm planning to do part time grab with my car as well. Most of the time will be city area driving, so not very fast, only couple of times a year go long distance driving with family.

I've read that many say the FC for both saga and persona roughly the same, but have yet to see comparisons with the preve turbo. Wondering if there is a big gap between FC and maintenance cost between those three cars?

If it's you guys, which would you go for? Haha feel free to recommend others but if possible 30k max and 2012 models above (haha not much choice I know )

Help regarding business registration

Hello everyone. I would like to register a business for the first time, so please forgive me if there are simple things that I misunderstand. I'll try explaining my situation a bit so that you will have a better grasp of it.

I am from Sarawak, and I wanted to register an enterprise, because from what I hear, this is the probably the best way to go for me. As for my business, I am a mobile game developer, and I work alone at home. I went to the LHDN to register my business, but was informed that I needed a tenure agreement to properly register. Since I work at home, and it could be some time before my business even earns anything, I would like to save as much as I can, and for my situation, it doesn't make any sense to spend so much money to rent a shop space which I am not going to use.

I looked around at virtual offices to see if they could be the solution, so far none of them seems to offer tenure agreements, however one did inform me that if I were to register my business anywhere in west Malaysia, they didn't require a tenure agreement. I would like to ask is this true? I've heard from a few that the registration requirements for both east and west Malaysia are slightly different, but I can't really confirm if this is true. If indeed this is true, are we allowed to use home address when registering for a business in west Malaysia? I know that it is not allowed in east Malaysia.

If it is more convenient to register in west Malaysia, I could go over there and register as I am there often as I have direct family members there.

Would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you.

Need advice on shipping options

Hi,

I hope some of you that have experience in the frieght and shipping section can help me with this.

I would like to send some keropok type products, from KL to Sarawak. Keropoks are light and take up some quite space, and the profit margins aren't really that high to justify some of the more expensive shipping options. And I am planning to send around 300kg to 500kg at each time.

What are some of the best shipping options for my situation?

I would like to hear some of your opinions and advice before seeking the shipping companies. I would learn about some of the options before talking with them, so at least I will know if they are just trying to squeeze me, or if they really do have our best interest in mind.

Will there be a maxis fantasy football 2011/2012

Just wanted to ask if anyone has any idea on whether or not there will be a local Fantasy football competition for the coming season? Like the previous 2 years and the world cup. Not wrong first year was stadium astro, then second year was maxis.

I think it is really fun and simple. Hopefully there will be.

Automatically jumps into UEFI during startup

Hi guys,

I am using the following:

CPU: i7 2600k
Motherboard: ASRock P67 Extreme 4
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

This morning and evening, when I start up my pc, during the part where we can enter UEFI, the computer automatically enters UEFI setup without me pressing anything. Another weird thing is, when I selected exit, nothing happened, I had to select it a second time before I could exit. During the evening (second time I on my pc) the same thing happened again, but this time during the second time that I had to press it to exit, it freeze, so I had to reset.

After that, it entered windows normally, and just now when I tried again, it entered windows normally. I am wondering if anyone knows what could be the problem?

I would rather ask for help now rather than wait, in case it might get worse or turn into a serious problem. If you need any of my com's other spec, please let me know.

Please recommend a 5.1 speaker set

Hi everyone,

Would love some advice on what 5.1 speaker to consider getting.

My soundcard will be Creative X-Fi Titanium. Budget for speakers around RM450.

The speakers will be in my room, which is quite small (3.5m x 4.5m I think), so no need super high RMS I think. Usage will be 50% music, 30% movies, 20% games. Would place more importance on clarity, as I do listen to every type of music. Bass should be good, but I am not planning on actually shaking the floor with it

My current serious consideration is the Edifier R501 MKii. Do you think I should go for this, or perhaps top up a little more if there is a better option? Haha won't mind top up extra RM50 if there really is a big difference.

I will be making my purchase in around 3 days, so appreciate any help.
