About net speed tests vs advertised speeds

Hi everyone. An article from pcgamer got me checking and I have a general question about those internet speed tests and how to check if its normal.

My plan is under unifi 500MBPS.

Results from several speedtest sites
https://pcm-intl.speedtestcustom.com/result...9b-75a03bf483b4
PCGamers suggested test reads 214 Mbps download & 108.7 Mbps Upload

https://www.speedtest.net/result/10522652733
Ookla 281.45 Mbps Download 109.38Mbps Upload

http://speedtest.tm.com.my/
Unifi 239.6 Download and 109.7 Upload

Minding that I have 3 PC's probably running, and a few phones thereabout. 1 Tv streaming Unifi channels, and one of those pc are probably torenting something and the other ones probably playing Genshin Impact or youtube.

Considering the above loads are these numbers normal? And would a 300Mbps or 100Mbps downgrade be enough to support the above usage?

Thanks for anything you can teach me.
Is this normal?

Bought a faulty gtx 1060 today and the initial problem was a crash that happens 5 minutes into the system booting up. I think i kinda fixed it by turning of some of its LED features. Can go into games right now and just went through Unigines Valley for a half an hour and it ran perfectly. Updated the drivers (used to use a rx470) but didn't do a DDU yet since i wanted to try the card in game asap. Can't really tell if its normal since as you can see from below

The card uses 0 of its own memory? That aside the games works perfectly albeit not better than what i was expecting though esp on Horizon Zero Dawn where my system struggled with it even with my older card.

My question

is it normal? or should i reinstall the drivers properly this time. its late and I didn't want to try work on it too much.

Just wanted to make sure its not a different problem in its vram or some stuff or is MSI bugging.

Its late so i will try to do a proper driver install tomorrow but would like to hear and welcome any input or contribution. Thanks

for refference. system specs
ryzen 3500x
16gb ram 3200
1060 3gb

Monitor self fixing question

Hi. I've asked around and people are saying it's too expensive to repair and all that but I'm kinda determined to fix it myself.

Most are saying the panel is broken and I'm wondering which part is that. The screen seems ok, so I'm assuming the panel is the green circuit board there? I think I can get a replacement for the board for rm100+ which is decent ish.

Ive already bought a new monitor to use but I want to try fix this one for nostalgia sake. Thanks again for any help and have a nice day.

Slow Wifi connections on certain phone

Hi. My house has a Unifi WiFi connection which seems to be working as intended on almost all phones except this one particular phone. Its an Oppo phone bought somewhere around 2017. Not sure on the model since its with my niece right now but I can try get it if it helps.

Even comparing side by side in the same room with a different phone (to rule out disturbance out of the equation) using the same speedtest app from okla one would have 20+ mbps download while the other one 2mbps ish and sometimes disconnects altogether.

The phone seems to work with the mobile data connection (maxis if it helps) but when its on WiFi on my Unifi connection it has difficulty even downloading anything from appstore around 11mb ish takes forever.

Is it compatibility wise? or some sort of virus (which i doubt since mobile data works), any settings that i should look out for?

Thanks for any replies and have a nice day

Help me decide what to do with laptop

I have an Acer E15 575G - 71MN basically a laptop that I bought. Voided the warranty when my nephew vomited on the unit and now cant get past Acer bios screen. Mind you the accident was like last year, already tried sending it to Acer service centre and they confirmed waranty void and need rm1.5k to fix which im like fk that.

So being that I know my way ish with desktops and after opening the covers and checking the vomit stains which by now seems like just dust ish I cant help but have this nagging feeling that the motherboard cpu ram disk drives are ok. Being how I remembered when it happened it still can load to windows before crashing at the welcome screen, though now can only reach the bios screen for a few seconds after sending to Acer. But the battery hasnt been charged for months now so maybe thats why its stopped at bios. The only thing that I think is causing the crash is somewhere in the keyboard mousepad area.

So my question is whats my next step? Consider it bricked? or from your experience is there a chance that the system might work with a clean up and replacing the keypads (seen some sold online at ebay at a relatively acceptable price), sell for parts? Sending to Acer is totally out of the question just for the fact that Id rather spend it on another laptop on a different brand.

Battery is charging now so might let it charge overnight and see if still can see windows on next boot.
