Connect UniFi to Fortinet Firewall

Hi Sifu out there,

I need your help regarding the UniFi configuration in the Fortinet firewall.
Currently the D-Link router always down and I need to force reboot for 3 times a week in the morning.
I'm thinking to remove the router and bypass the connection by connecting UniFi directly to the firewall.

I manage to establish the connection, can browse the internet, Facebook... Google... Youtube... Email & etc
But now the problem is incoming email cannot be received.
Our email server only receiving the email from internal user but not from outsider
Also VPN cannot be connected from outside, whatever inbound connection is failed.

Any idea on how to solve this?

Below is the PPPoE setting in D-Link Router

Below is the PPPoE setting in Fortinet

Currently the email domain is directed to 1XX.1XX.2XX.198, or should I change the IP address to 197?
But from my Googling, address 197 is an interface IP and not a static IP address.
Also what is unnumbered IP? Fortinet guideline stated just leave it to 0.0.0.0 but D-Link router is different.

Another alternate plan is to replace with a new router (3COM) and yet still having the same problem.
The D-Link router warranty has void and new replacement will going to be charged, but still giving the cheapo brand.

Appreciate for any help and feedback.
