Installing a Ceiling Fan

Dear Guys / Wiring sifus,

I'm trying to install a fan to the ceiling. Attached is the photos.

A) Two wires at the ceiling

B) Two wires at the top of the fan

C) Three wires from fan to motor

D) Two open slots

I don't have a multi-meter to test, but a test pen.

Questions:
1) Is it ok if I accidentally swapped the wires at (A) wrongly? Any difference /
will it short circuit?

Another Sad Story-Legal Advice Needed-Serious Talk

I have a very good friend A, who is 70+, was married twice, now with a
60+ lady. From his former wife, he has a few children. Current - 0 children.

Sadly, A is now ill & bed-ridden, most of the time in hospital,
due to leg condition.

Following from that, his current wife is always talking about
funeral arrangement, & particularly his assets & properties,
while friend A is pretty much alive. She was trying to
get him sign some documents to transfer properties / cash / will
out to her name. Always nagging A to transfer or to will the properties
& cash to her. Feedback from A's children -
It really sound like "If can sapu, sapu everything!"
A's wife will not be happy to know if there are properties being
willed to his former wife's children.

Even in the hospital, instead of taking care of friend A,
wife will be nagging about where the properties go, or friend A does
not treat her fairly as compared to his children & etc.

One day, friend A asked his wife why she is always talking about
his assets & properties, she said she don't want his properties.

Now the thing is, if really anything happens to good friend A, what
would the law says about where A's properties go to? According to A's will?
If he has not made a will, where will it go?

Also, A have purchased a property and placed his name and one of the
children's name in. Under the law, who does the property goes to, in the
event of death or divorce?
