What do you think about Hong Kong and Taiwanese?

So while the whole world acknowledging the "giant of history" ministry mentor Lee Kuan Yew legacy and full of praise for his contribution towards building Singapore from 3rd world to 1st world fully developed country, which is kinda impossible job thus makes him even more legendary, Taiwan and Hongkong people just full of spikes and criticized him in every direction.

Said things like "dictator" la, "abuse human rights no freedom of speech", "promote own son become PM" la, etc.

So what do you guys think about these ignorant dudes, or you agreed to what they said?

For your reference, LKY previously said that Hong Kong will never gain full democracy after 97 delegation to China, and belittle Taiwanese a bit when they try to gain full sovereignty and separation from China. So, basically they butthurt and biased la.

My opinion is that they're so fucking stupid China will eat them up eventually and they can yell for democracy all the way in Antartica then

Groomsmen sexually assault bridesmaid during wedding in Shandong, China. (video below)

A woman was sexually assaulted by groomsmen during her best friend’s wedding. The woman known as Lee, who served as a bridesmaid at a friend’s wedding in Shandong, China, was striped naked and sexually assaulted by a few of the groomsmen. The woman claimed that the men, who are all about 24 to 25-years-old, pushed her into a room where they threw her onto a bed. Then, they stripped her naked and sexually assaulted her while making fun of her. The woman said that she struggled to get away and screamed for help, but no one came to her aid. When the men left the room, the woman claimed she told the groom that she was sexually assaulted by his friend’s, but he turned his back on her and did nothing. When the wedding was over, Lee went to the bride and groom’s apartment to discuss the assault, but the bride and groom have already left for their honeymoon. The groom’s father was at the apartment and spoke with the woman, who was shaken up by the incident. The groom’s father called his son, the groom, who claimed that he had no idea the assault took place. When the woman received no sympathy or help from the groom or his father, she went to the police to report the crime, and to get justice. Police are investigating the incident.

Male guests teasing the bride at the wedding night is the tradition in some parts of China.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=173222...181%3Cbr+%2F%3E

I heard that the highest charge on tax is 26%. This is similar to the UK and other Euro countries.
Seriously? That means we pay our income as much as UK citizen pay their gov't? for this undeveloped country??
So we're paying 1st class tax for a 3rd class welfare and service???

Malaysia could have enjoyed Singapore’s success
Lee Kuan Yew – Malaysia could have enjoyed Singapore’s multi-racial system if not for the break up

sos cili

Lee Kuan Yew, the founding father of Singapore commented on the racial relations of Malaysia saying that if Singapore and Malaysia did not part ways back in 1965, the latter would have enjoyed the type of nationalism and multi-racism culture that are practiced by Singapore. He was speaking at an interview with the New York Times recently where he mentioned that it was being ‘turfed out’ of Malaysia which formed the first regret of his career that span many decades.

In a transcript of the interview which was not published in the magazine, he said “I think if the Tunku had kept us together, what we did in Singapore, had Malaysia accepted a multiracial base for their society, much of what we’ve achieved in Singapore would be achieved in Malaysia. Now we have a very polarised Malaysia — Malays, Chinese and Indians in separate schools, living separate lives and not really getting on with one another. You read them. That’s bad for us as close neighbours. We made quite sure whatever your race, language or religion, you are an equal citizen and we’ll drum that into the people and I think our Chinese understand and today we have an integrated society. We will not as a majority squeeze the minority because once we’re by ourselves, the Chinese become the majority. Using racial politics was the “easy way”, claiming that if he had used this method in Singapore to gain the majority vote, its society would eventually be destroyed. Because if you play it that way, if you have dissension, if you chose the easy way to Muslim votes and switch to racial politics, this society is finished. The easiest way to get majority vote is — vote for me, we’re Chinese, they’re Indians, they’re Malays. Our society will be ripped apart. If you do not have a cohesive society, you cannot make progress,”

He also said “The regret is there’s such a narrow base to build this enormous edifice so I’ve got to tell the next generation, please do not take for granted what’s been built. If you forget that this is a small island which we are built upon, and reach a 100-storey high tower block and may go up to 150 (storeys) if you are wise. But if you believe that it’s permanent, it will come tumbling down and you will never get a second chance. I believe they (the youth) have come to believe that this (racial harmony) is a natural state of affairs, and they can take liberties with it. I know this is never so. We (Singapore government) have crafted a set of very intricate rules — no housing blocks shall have more than a percentage of so many Chinese, Indians, Malays. All are thoroughly mixed. Your neighbours are Indians, Malays, you go to the same shopping malls, the same schools, same playing fields, you go up and down the same lifts — we cannot allow segregation. We’ve got here, we’ve become cohesive, keep it that way. We’ve not used Chinese as a majority language because it will split the population. If you want to keep your Malay, or your Chinese, or your Tamil, Urdu or whatever, do that as a second language, not equal to your first language. It is up to you, how high a standard you want to achieve,”

“Malaysia took the different line; Malaysians saw it as a Malay country, all others are lodgers, ‘orang tumpangan’, and they the Bumiputeras, sons of the soil, run the show. So the Sultans, the Chief Justice and judges, generals, police commissioner, the whole hierarchy is Malay,”

inb4 super serow pork thread

Good news for Sarawakian

GENEVA/BERN, Switzerland — Twenty Swiss MPs have filed a motion in parliament that calls for an immediate freeze of assets held by Swiss banks on behalf of the Malaysian Taib family, reports the Bruno Manser Fund.

Last week, Geneva MP and lawyer Carlo Sommaruga, who is spearheading the move, also lodged a criminal complaint, asking the Attorney General of Switzerland, Michael Lauber, to declare the Malaysian Taib family a criminal organisation.

“All the evidence I have seen makes it clear that the Taib family is acting like a criminal organisation, said Mr. Sommaruga. In his submissions to the Swiss prosecutors and to the Swiss government, he demands that “all assets under the power of this criminal organisation deposited in Switzerland, specifically with the banking establishments UBS, Pictet & Cie, and the private bank Edmond de Rothschild”, should be confiscated under section 72 of the Swiss Criminal Code. Mr Sommaruga compared the Taib family to the clan of former Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha whose Swiss assets had been frozen.

The lawmakers’ move was triggered by recent statements by Taib’s former daughter-in-law Shanaz Abdul Majid in the syariah court in Kuala Lumpur. Shanaz, who is divorced from Taib son Mahmud Abu Bekir Taib, said that her ex-husband held 111 bank accounts in 10 countries and that three Swiss banks administered over US$100m for her ex-husband.

In June 2011, Taib Mahmud declared in the Sarawak state assembly that he had no secret Swiss bank account and pledged to “swiftly bring the truth to light” by fully cooperating with any probe by Swiss authorities. However, Taib refused to answer questions on the matter and did not comment on the possibility of assets held by his son or other nominees on his behalf.

Last August, Swiss prosecutors opened a criminal case against UBS in a similar case involving a Malaysian top politician. The bank is accused of having laundered over US$90m of corruption proceeds on behalf of Musa Aman, Chief Minister of the Malaysian state of Sabah. Both Musa Aman and his Sarawak colleague Taib Mahmud have massively enriched themselves and their political cronies from the destructive and often illegal logging of Borneo’s tropical rainforests.

[COLOR=red]sos kicap[COLOR=red]

long sleeve T shirts?

I always think that man with long sleeve T shirt is elegant, delicate and somewhat artistic. Although Malaysia is a high temp country, but I still feel that man can wear long sleeve in here all day long, especially for those who really skinny and scrawny.

Do you guys like to wear long sleeve T casually, on a daily basis? Or it's just way too weird to do so?
