Hello ppls, how much do you guys think I should sell my AMD Athlon II X2 255 for? 3.1 ghz dual core no hyperthreading. Age of about 3.5 years. No picture available as I don't wanna take it out of my rig if it's not worth selling. Still works very well.

Illegear Z5 or MSI GE62 2QF APACHE PRO

Hey guys, i need some help on deciding between these two notebooks.

Illegear Z5:

Display: 15.6" Full HD Anti-glare IPS/AHVA Wide Color Gamut & Viewing Angle (1920 x 1080)
Tune Your Screen: Professional Color Calibration
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ (6MB L3 Cache, 2.60GHz)
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 3GB GDDR5 with Optimus (Maxwell)
Thermal Compound: IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU & GPU (RECOMMENDED)
RAM: 8GB DDR3L RAM 1600MHz - 1 X 8GB
Primary Drive: 500GB Seagate Solid State Hybrid Drive
mSATA SSD RAID Options: Non-RAID
Primary mSATA Solid State Drive: None
Secondary mSATA Solid State Drive: None
Wireless Network Card: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 - WLAN & Bluetooth 4.0 Combo
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-Bit Edition
Warranty: ILLEGEAR 2 Year Carry-In Warranty
Accessories: ILLEGEAR Backpack & Velvet Sleeve

MSI GE62 2QF APACHE PRO:

15.6" UHD, (3840*2160) 4K IPS
nVidia Geforce GTX 970M, 3GB GDDR5
Sharkbay i7-4720HQ+HM87
DDR III 8GB
1TB (SATA) 7200rpm
Super Multi (9.5mm)
Intel 7260 Wilkins Peak 2 (2x2 802.11 ac)+BT4.0 M.2 type
Win8.1 Single Language
6 cell
Gaming bag
2 Year Warranty Term for Gaming

I intend to use the notebook for gaming, video editing, live streaming, collegework and just plain surfing the internet. I had my mind set on the Z5 for about a month now however i saw the GE62 was also priced the same at 5.5k. The only differences between the two that i can tell from the specs are that the Z5 should run cooler than the GE62 while the GE62 has a 4k screen. I do intend to record gameplay at the highest possible settings at 55 fps+ making the 4k screen quite irrelevant as the gtx 970m probably wont be able to handle the more needy games at 4k. But thats just what i could tell from what is advertised. Any advice will be appreciated. TY.

Questions on laptop specs

Hi, im thinking about preordering an illegear z5 from prince j but i intend to pay for it only in july. Ive just finished my first week at my temporary full time job and if im allowed to OT as many hours as i have this week for the next 12 week i can afford the illegear z5 with 970. However, anything might happen over the next 3 months and so i would like to know if gtx 960 which is 800 ringgit cheaper is enough to support any game which i throw at it? Also is 8gb ram enough for heavy gaming? Upgrading to 16 gb is +319 ringgit but i was already prepared to upgrade from the start however to get the gtx970 with upgraded ram will be 90% confirmed out of my budget and so bringing me back to is gtx960 enough?

Pls reply as last day to preorder di. THANK YOU

I NEED HELP WITH DECIDING ON A LAPTOP

I've been trying to decide which is better for the past week. Msi or Asus? I intend to buy a gaming laptop for some heavy gaming (COD, Far cry 4 these kind of games), collegework and other basic uses like youtube and such. My budget right now is about 3-4k (i hope that budget is enough for a laptop that can comply to my needs). The weight really doesnt matter (i don't really intend to carry it around much and i dont mind carrying a few kg once in awhile). I've been eyeing the msi cx70-2qf which has a 17.3 inch screen but if i have to sacrifice screen size for better performance i will. I tend to play at night so a backlit keyboard would be nice. The msi cx70-2qf has these specs : 4th gen intel i7-4712MQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M 2GB GDDR3, 17.3 inche HD+ non glare LED backlit screen, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD and some other non gaming related thingys all for the price of 3k. Are these specs enough for gaming?, is the price reasonable ?and if there are any better recommendations im all ears (or eyes). As for Asus, i havent yet found an Asus that catches my attention but im sure i just havent been searching hard enough. However everyone i know is either using or getting an asus but im not the type that gets something just to fit in, i want performance and if i have to buy china brand for that performance oso idc.

Looking forward to your replies and THANK YOU.

P.S. i understand that a 3k custom pc will be all i need but i havent got space in my room for a pc and i'm sick of having to go out to use the computer. I know it isnt a great excuse but when your told to shhh when ur celebrating a win or a victory. Really damn shit.
