Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2015 Premium Ticket

Hi guys,

I have this AFA'ID premium ticket for this year. I was wondering where I can sell it off to, since I'm not going for it this year due to financial concerns I need to cut back my hobbies on.
I know that some of you have places in the Indonesian anime community with regards to where they usually congregate online. I hope you guys can spread the word on it.

I bought this off because of nano's performance this year being in Indonesia, but… life is harsh, and I don't know anyone who's willing to come with me to the concert.
With the economy being in shambles and me just recently discharged after a lengthy stay in the hospital on top of being admitted before I could see my mom's final farewell, I just don't feel like attending any more ACG events and concerts any more.

Let me know if you can find a buyer either here or in Indonesia. Or at least point me (please spare the troll comments) to Indonesian anime forums so that I can sell it there.

Apparently I never liked lunch (don't ask why) so when I stumbled upon an Ars Technica article about Soylent – supposed to replace the daily tasks of breakfast, lunch and dinner – I wanted to find if there is any places that are selling this product, or similar products in Malaysia. I'm kinda interested in the movement for food replacement stuffs.

Advice for a foreign professional in Malaysia

Hi guys.

A brief primer. Stayed in Malaysia for too long to care about coming back home. Had recently joined a IT company in KL and the boss are quite happy to have me with his company. I just recently graduated from Monash University with a degree, so I am quite confident that I am going to be needed in Malaysia for the IT industry.

Problem: MDeC and their vague requirements.

They recently rejected my company's application to allow me to get hired and process my relevant documents: visa, employment passes and so on. I'm in the process of getting more information from my colleagues as to how to get this done, but I'd like to know either my alternatives, or steps that I can take to make myself get hired in Malaysia.

So I humbly request answers and advice from you guys. I look forward to your replies.

Disney buys Lucasfilms for US$4 billion

Disney buys Lucasfilm, plans to release 'Star Wars: Episode 7' in 2015

Star Wars fans, you might want to sit down for this one — The Walt Disney Company just announced its plans to purchase Lucasfilm Ltd from George Lucas, with plans to release Star Wars: Episode 7 sometime during 2015. The deal is a stock and cash transaction, with Lucas receiving about half of the $4.05 billion value of the deal in cash plus some 40 million stock shares. ""It's now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers," Lucas said in a statement. "I've always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime."

The deal will see Disney take control of all of Lucafilm's assets, including the "evergreen" Star Wars franchise and operating businesses in "live action film production, consumer products, animation, visual effects, and audio post production." Kathleen Kennedy, current Co-Chairman of Lucasfilm, will take over as President of the new Lucasfilm division and report to Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn. Lucas himself will stay on as creative consultant for the new Star Wars films, with Kennedy serving as executive producer.

RizonBNC EU Server Blocked?

Hi guys.

I've been unable to connect to RizonBNC's EU server for almost 2 weeks now. Tried pinging their server, this is the error I get:

I connected to Mibbit's servers to RizonBNC, & the connections are OK (routed from Mibbit's servers). My suspicion is that TM Net is doing something to my connection to the EU server.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
