Opinion Needed on Employers Decision

Not sure if this has been posted b4, but here's my side of the story:

In Aug, I had to take about 2-3weeks of Emergency leave due to Family funeral issue. I know its super LONG, but I got no choice as the eldest son and weird ritual practices. My entire year's annual leave and last year's balance leave were totally cleared. When i return in on 3rd Sept, my boss says my salary is being withheld due to my long "vacation". Had submitted the funeral details and also all necessary proof but he still insist to hold and says the company lawyer are looking into this matter to resolve the issue if i should b sacked or not. My work during this period was done at nite and promptly delivered via email but still was told that i didn't attend meetings with clients and they were upset. Called the client but they denied of such comments (ask in a nice way).

Anyway, any HR managers able to assist if i can be sacked ? Until now still haven't receive my salary.
