Possible to cancel a bought property?

Asking all sifus here, since I do not have any idea/info. Believe this is the right thread.

I bought a house 3 years ago. Unfortunately the house has not been completed, and I foresee further delay again by the developer. So I'm currently paying huge interest fee to the Bank.

A friend told me to request the Bank to stop transferring money to the Developer. It is an option, but I somewhat decided to try look for other house.

So just wanted to find out, can I cancel my purchase and loan with the bank? If yes, what would be the process? And what sort of penalty I'm looking at?

Reverse Camera Problem

Dear Sifus - I hope that I'm posting this in the right forum. If not, I'm so sorry. Please help to point out to the right forum.

Cut to the chase, I recently bought and installed a dash cam recorder - front camera and reverse camera. The installation was done at an accessory shop.

When we tested both cameras before installation, both cameras were working fine. However, after the installation, suddenly the reverse camera does not work. We did more test, and these are the situation:

- When switch to Reverse gear, the camera did not automatically switch to reverse camera. However, the reverse camera light (the white light on the device) turn on.
- When I manually switch to Reverse Camera using the menu, the reverse camera is all black.
- The reverse camera also does not show the reverse indicator/line.

So I'm wondering, if it is wiring problem, the reverse camera light turn on when I put to reverse gear. So shouldn't be wiring. If it is the camera, then how come during testing it works fine, and camera light also turn on.

I even do a re-format to factory settings, just in case the software got problem. But same case.

Any ideas what went wrong, and what should I do?

Brightstar Refund

Hi everyone,

Recently I sent my LG Nexus 5X phone to Brightstar PJ to claim for warranty, as the motherboard is faulty. Just today, the service center called me saying they cannot repair my phone as the factory no longer produces the motherboard.

For this, they will refund money for my phone. However, the service center was not able to provide me with the refund amount, as according to her, it is up to Management's decision.

Just wondering if anyone have any experience on this - how much is the refund, what criteria determines the refund amount, how long is the process, etc?

Any info would help, as I just need to make sure when I buy a new decent phone, it will be within my budget + the refund amount. Thank you.
