            <title>Unifi P2P</title>

            <description>I&amp;#39;m here to rant, if possible, troubleshooting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Information: &lt;br /&gt;Plan - Unifi Advance 30Mbps (&lt;i&gt;free upgrade same price from 10Mbps iirc&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;Router - Innacom RGX4400&lt;br /&gt;Firmware - 2.0.11&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had frequent disconnection since my installation Feb/March 2015 until around April 2016.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I started to complain about the problem since February 2016 as it annoyed me too much. They sent technicians to my place to troubleshoot my issue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Things technician did in order: &lt;br /&gt;1) Change cable (&lt;i&gt;didn&amp;#39;t recall which cable&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;2) Change modem&lt;br /&gt;3) Change to Innacom router (&lt;i&gt;previous router was the one with TM logo in the settings&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;4) Change another Innacom router with dual band (&lt;i&gt;current using&lt;/i&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;5) Update/Downgrade firmware&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4 or 5 might have switched.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Problem presist after the last troubleshooting, I talked to the supervisor on the phone and requested expert team. Expert team didn&amp;#39;t come, no response, I called, was told that the expert team couldn&amp;#39;t tend me because they only work on weekdays (&lt;i&gt;I can&amp;#39;t tend to them either, work on weekdays too&lt;/i&gt;), talked to supervisor, was told the reason I keep having this issue because I was using P2P and said that and they will send normal technician to come which again no one came. After a few days, I didn&amp;#39;t experience frequent disconnection, figured they solved the issue so I didn&amp;#39;t complain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fast forward 2 weeks earlier, I was having this issue again, called them on 17th Sunday, requested supervisor again, he said technician remark there was no problem with my connection, me using P2P connection which led to frequent disconnection. Said he will report this problem and I will get a feedback, again i did not receive any.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just had this issue 8:10 PM when I was browsing Facebook, called, requested supervisor, he claimed that P2P was the problem (&lt;i&gt;maybe I was using ? uploading like 0.5Kbps&lt;/i&gt;) and my IP will get refreshed when P2P connection reach certain amount of quota.&lt;br /&gt;Asked why P2P was the problem, reasons are stated below:&lt;br /&gt;1) Security reasons&lt;br /&gt;2) Causes other users in the building having slow connection.&lt;br /&gt;3) Their infrastructure not good enough to support P2P&lt;br /&gt;He also said that there are companies (&lt;i&gt;i believe he meant internet cafe&lt;/i&gt;) complained to them having disconnection which leads to why Unifi isn&amp;#39;t upgrading their equipment. I gave up finding solution with the supervisor as he said their equipment doesn&amp;#39;t support P2P much. So were they bullshitting about the P2P thing ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Been playing GTA 5 lately, it uses P2P when playing matchmaking. I have tried port provided by Rockstar &lt;a href='https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/206210548-How-to-Resolve-Errors-in-GTA-Online-about-Strict-NAT-Type' target='_blank'&gt;&lt;b&gt;ROCKSTAR NAT TYPE&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; and it didn&amp;#39;t work, maybe my settings were wrong, will post pic it if someone willing to help.</description>
