[WTA) Gaming PC...Overhaul of upgrade?

Good day all sifus,

This is what i have at the moment...Games that I usually play are like Battlefield 4, The Witcher 3, Tom Clancy's, Blade and Soul and other games alike...I would prefer Ultra settings all the way...

i7 3xxx (not at home now)
Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z
Asus HD7970 (with Artic Cooling fan)
Samsung EVO850 500G SSD
Corsair Vengeance 8G x 2
Xigamatic 750w

The question is, do I upgrade the GPU and Processor to...

MSI GTX970 / GTX980 (or wait for April)
i5 6600

Or overhaul the whole thing to something like this?

WTA GPU and MOBO

sifus...I'm having a big dilemma right now...my current pc setup is Asus Maximus iV Extreme Z (z68) MoBo and Asus HD7970 3G...while my wife's Msi Z87-G45 Gaming with Msi GTX770 TF 4G DDR5 OC...while we are playing GW2...she have this 100% smooth gameplay even with tonnes of players/graphic around...while I'm having lower FPS...the difference is quite big between hers and mine...is there something that I'm missing or just Radeon suck so bad? btw, my current GW2 gameplay isnt smooth...my fps will go down to as low as 10+

Samsung 27" LED (with HDMI Cable)

Asus Maximus iV Extreme Z (z68)

WTA Gaming Rig Setup

guys...i'm going to setup a pc for my wife...I have some hardware that I'm interested but I'm not sure if these will be the correct items I should be getting...really need so advice here...

Motherboard Msi Z87-G45 Gaming
Msi GTX 770 TF OC 2G
Intel i7 4770 3.4
Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866 8G X 2
Corsair Neutron SSD 128G
CM CPU Cooler

My concern are mainly the MOBO...is it sufficient or I can go for something lower or higher spec? The current setup cost about SGD2000-2200 and I'm a bit reluctant to spend more because we will be changing rigs next year again...

I have another question for my own rig...my current Asus HD7970's temperature is running really high at 80+ celsius...and sometimes it can reach 90+...i have to set my GPU fan speed to a constant 70% when I'm playing BF3 or GW2...it is normal or is there anything that I can do to bring the temperature down?

To all sifus,

My current rig,

CPU - Core 2 Duo 2.6ghz
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB
RAM - 4GB DDR3
System - Win 7 64bit

I know this rig isnt recommended for BF3...i'm kinda in a tight budget now so if possible I dont want to spend so much cos I'm eyeing Alienware next year. To play BF3 smoothly irregardless of low,mid or high setting, do i need to change the whole rig or I can make do with a new processor, say like i3 or i5 ? I dont mind my graphic setting at mid or high. I just wanna play BF3 smoothly for now, well at least decent smoothness. Thx for all your advise in advance.

Starcraft 2 Black Screen during startup

guys i need some help...whenever i start my starcraft, all i got is a black screen but i can hear the audio...previously everything was ok until recently, especially after i've patch one of the update...pls help me cos i've search de net and i cant find even one solution

Girlfriend's Husband Threaten To Hurt Own Kids

To make the story short...

My girlfriend wanted a separation from her current husband...but she feels that it will do more harm then good to her kids who are 10 n 14 yrs old...a mutual agreement to stay together 2 more yrs or so for the kids sake...but yesterday, the husband threaten/hinted at suicide together with his youngest son with full view of his eldest son after finding out about my existance...he should have see this coming as he already screwed up 15 yrs of this marriage by providing non for the family (financially,love,care etc)...There is nothing I can do becos she love her kids so much, but so do I...she cant let her childrens get hurt so she is staying put for now...the husband hope to patch things up by having a second chance, while I want him out of her life even I'm not the one next in line for the "husband" post...she don't tell me what she is planning...give him a second chance?...see 1 step walk 1 step?...she just tell me there is nothing to be done...he is using the kids as ransom...I really need some advise and ppl to talk to regarding this...

Just for the record...the husband description as below...

1) only pay 40% of the house mortgage
2) Never bother to do anything when the wife is sick(basically everything about the wife)
3) Never show elders any respect.(almost everyone)
4) Never help to do anything in the house.
5) simply put it...Eat,TV,shit and sleep
