Buying a car with remaining loan

Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a car from my sister which still has about 4 years of remaining loan.

I don't have ready cash to buy it off her hand so I'm thinking about hire purchase

May I know if I can get hire purchase to settle the remaining loan so the ownership transfer can happen?

I really don't have ready cash to spare and I do need the car to work

Hi guys,

I am a fresh graduate who just got a sales job. I'm currently driving a car under my sister's name and the loan is under her too.
Since my company provides car loan subsidy if the car is under my name, I want to get a hire purchase to transfer the ownership to me.

I've called Bank Islam and they do not accept used car loans for fresh graduate.
Also called Maybank but no one picks up after 2 hours and I went to their branch and it's closed also.

Because I'm working full-time from home now (super busy), I dont have time to go to the bank and do everything at the branch.

Anyone here works at banks or have any contact then I can apply the hire purchase with?

Hi guys so I normally take buses to go back Johor to visit my parents every weekend.

I went back lompang my friend's car before mco and got stuck.

Government will be allowing to go back KL soon starting 7/5 and my company is allowing me to work as soon as I get back

The problem is I don't have a car in Johor and there's no bus service not to mention no one can fetch me back

I'm wondering got any service for Johor to KL during mco? Grab or anything? Pricey I dont mind also

Terminate contract during probationary period?

Hi there
I just started my job and the boss doesnt treat the employees right

However, I signed the contract already stating if I quit before 2 years I'll be penalty a very big amount of money

The contract also states a probationary period of 3 months

So if I quit during the probationary period will I still get penalized? Or I can quit without penalty during these 3 months?

First time accident need help with insurance claim

Hi guys I was at karak highway yesterday dawn and it was very dark. I was at the fast lane and some small animal was running across so I turned the steering the avoid and hit the right side divider so my whole right side was scratched.

I reported to the polis immediately but I have no idea how insurance will work for my case.

I'm going to send to my usual SC this weekend for inspection.

Do I claim under OD and lose my NCD or can I claim without losing NCD since it was not my intentional fault but I didnt have a dash cam to prove my story also lah 😥

I don't mind claiming my own insurance and forfeit the ncd if no choice.

My problem is I need to travel everyday and I'll be very busy and need my car for the next few weeks until August and since the car is totally functional only got scratch. Can I send to repair after August? Will the police report expire or smt? Can I apply for insurance claim and after they approve I wait until August baru repair?

The other thing is i heard got something called loss of use which compensates you for the duration of repair. Does it apply for my case also?
