Hi all sifus, I want to ask for TV recommendation below RM2000.

Screen size around 49" to 50".

Brand: Sharp but love to hear other advice on other brands.

Usage: Watch videos. (Plan getting android tv box)

last week, my Sapphire R9 270X passed away. Now I am using without any GPU.

Now I am looking for a GPU, current specs:

Intel i5 4670
Gskill 8gb ram
Gigabyte H87-D3H
WD 1TB hdd
PSU 480watts (if i remember correctly)

CM N200 Case & Asus 1060 6G Dual

RAM: G Skill 8gb DDR3 1 stick
PSU: Superflower leadex 550w (if i not mistaken)
HDD: 1TB WD Blue Caviar
GPU: Sapphire r9 270x Sapphire Dual OC

Plan to get newer gpu like Asus 1060 6G Dual.. i not sure if it can fit or not?

Astro A50 wireless gaming 7.1 Dolby Digital

Hi sifus,

I bought my Astro A50 wireless gaming 7.1 Dolby Digital. Took me some time to assemble the annoying stand and get the headset worked and some figuring out. Then I realized that my motherboard GA-H87M-D3H does not have optical-out to connect my optical cable to my headset's transmitter.

Is there anyway to get 7.1? My motherboard do have 7.1 supported but is for the speakers. I tried play with the SOUND options in the desktop. Apparently it doesn't work or I am doing it wrong. I hope I can get 7.1 Dolby Digital without relying on buying sound cards though.

If I need to get it, any good sound cards? decent ones? not too expensive. Preferably external sound cards because my knowledge in PC is average or below average LOL.

Hi, I bought the new JBL Pebbles but the cable (AUX In) is extremely short. My PC placed on the floor and the cable can't even reach the table, so is there anyway or maybe something like extension for it?

I want to add 1 more 8GB Value Ram 1333Mhz. I am using gskill but i asked 1 of my friend and said that he doesn't have that brand. Is it ok to use other value ram brands like kingston or corsair? Anyway what's the price for the ram?

Hello, sifu... can recommend any tobacco brand other than Mac Baren? Because i am looking for tobacco that is good and smooth... I am sharing with my friend so he prefer not to have flavors because he dont like the smell.. so original will be good or maybe the smell of the flavors is lower...

I am a total newbie when it comes to notebooks. Basically, I have zero knowledge about it. What I worry about the most is that after buying the notebook and in the end regret buying it. Many sellers try to make a lot of profits from someone especially like us who doesn't know anything. I owned a Compaq notebook before which uses AMD processor. It is freaking hot and it can really cook my wrist. My wrist became red after using it for like 30mins and I can feel the heat from my wrist as well. 6 or 7 years ago it was around RM2800.

I would like to know before I purchase any notebook what are the stuffs should I know and what should I avoid? I also would like to know whether the notebooks are worth buying once you see the specifications of the notebooks. What are the brands that are trusted and provide very good services?

Price range around 2k-3k.

External dvd rom

Hi, I would like to ask what brand is decent and good for external dvd rom. May I know the price as well? My LG internal dvd rom died and I bought the same brand and died in 2 years == so basically i am not using any dvd rom for 2years now and now my windows 7 is acting up.

My windows 7 is having a problem now. Always hang or freeze. Windows Explorer is not responding (even in desktop).
The price for reformatting in kota damansara is rm50 and i don't want to pay for it and then got problem again with windows in 1 year time. Hopefully can find a stable version of win7 32bit. Anyone can recommend which version is stable as well?
