Urgent Appeal for NEG Blood type in Malaysia

Note: I'm not Russell. I'm helping to share this here out of goodwill in hope of attracting the attention of kind-hearted blood donors that can help.

Our Great Friend's Pregnant Wife is suffering from a serious medical condition. She urgently needs and NEG blood transfusions.

While she was in stable condition when I visited her tonight 17/7/12, it could turn critical at any moment. As her Platelet count (normal range is 150-450) has drop from 250 to 115 then 30 during the last few weeks and now at only 9 today.

Platlets are used to clot blood and control bleeding.

Levels less than 15 can result in sudden uncontroled internal bleeding, which can be fatal if the patient doesnt recieve sufficent transfusions in time.

Unfortunately NEG blood types are rare with only 5-10% Caucasians and less than 0.5% Asians having NEG types so its very difficult to find matches.

Please everyone spread the word, this pregnant mother urgently needs NEG Type (A-, B-, AB- or O-) blood donors.

If you think you have NEG blood type , please check and confirm with your normal doctor or Klinik first as they should have your blood type recorded.

Once you have confirm you have NEG blood type, please visit Uni MMalay Hospital to donate blood between 8am - 5pm. I suggest you call ahead first to schedule a donation time and also check if you have any conditon that might exclude you from giving blood.

Please make sure you tell the donation staff that your Neg Blood is for Mrs Paris Parsafar staying in the Building "Kesihatan Wanita dan Kanak Kanak" or "KWKK" or "Womans and Childrens Health"

Also Please also leave a msg here to help us compile a list of Potential Donor should she need sudden urgent blood supplies.
