Just Want to start this topic and see how many ppl here have bought a unit? For Own stay? Investment? Maybe we can track their progress together.

Just to share I myself have placed booking fee for a unit here in Block 3 facing away from the highway.
Price I bought RM436k. Standard unit (1,082sqft). According the agent, maintenance fee is 28sen/sqft.
As advertised, 2 carparks, free 6 months maintenance. Surely the 6mth use for defects, renovation so not much.
Take up rate a bit slow compared to TTDI Adina just few doors down. In fact I went over to Adina they said only left 2 units (facing tesco), the rest fully sold.

Where to find headset like this?

CMOS/GPNV Checksum Bad

As the title says... CMOS/GPNV Checksum Bad

What is that error msg?

When I just turn on the computer, I get that screen before even getting to the windows loading screen.

Below is the picture of the screen.

Someone please help me with this problem. Not sure what's going on. Is my computer going to die soon?

After this screen, I just F4. went to BIOS, and just exit without any changes. Went to the profile selection screen.
I immediately turn off the PC for 1 minute or more without going in any profile. After that when I turn it back on, it seems fine.

This problem occurs every morning when its turn on the first time for the day. Later on it doesn't surface.

extra* After I exit BIOS, if I did not choose turn off at the profile selection screen, but select restart instead. The screen comes back. Instead this time is Memory Low something. Then my 1.5GB of RAM becomes 256MB.

Same solution applies.

Hi everyone. I'm a fresh grad with BA(Hons) Business Management degree majoring in Accounting.

I'm currently considering between a few jobs.

I got an offer as an audit assistant in a small accounting/auditing firm. Pay is between RM1500-RM1700.

I want to know what kind of career opportunities will I have after working for 2 years. Without any professional qualification..

Suppose I was to take up a professional cert like ACCA or CIMA during my working working experience, what kind of career opportunities will I have?

I'm also considering to join those bigger firms as a management trainee. How is their job exposure and learning experience? I heard that some firms that the trainees don't really learn a lot, mostly do a lot of basic stuff.

A Canon question

Hey guys, I want to ask something about Canon Powershot series.

The A460 compared with A530/540.

I noticed that the A530/540 has the manual focus, while the A460 does not.

How much of a difference in control is there when using manual focus? I find very little reviews on this matter.

This should help me to decide which one to buy. Thanks guys, any insights would be much appreciated.

Sweaty palms

Hey guys, hope to get some opinion. I have sweaty palms. Somehow my palms sweat a lot for no apparent reason.

I could be just playing my computer, after like 1-2 hours my palm quite sweaty. Then have to take tissue wipe my mouse... Sometimes just sitting down read newspaper also sweat, seems like it doesnt tie to any activity as I was not working out before the palm sweats. Sometimes I have to wipe my hands just to shake people hands cause my palm is sweaty.

Any suggestion to reduce sweatiness of palm?

Adding Harddisk

Hi guys. I need help regarding adding in harddisk.

Heres my problem:

I have 2 PC, 1 is old 1 is slightly newer. The old PC(PC1) currently has problems like the monitor keeps on flashing/blinking and in constantly hangs.

But when I plug in the slightly newer PC(PC2), everything is fine. I use back the same keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor for both. The monitor does not blink/flash with PC2 plugged in.

So now I intend to bring my harddisk from PC1 and put it into PC2, because I have a lot of files without additional space to back them all up.

My worry here is this, if I just transfer(physically) the harddisk from PC1 and put into PC2, what about OS? Means I will have XP SP2 on each of the harddisk. I just worry about OS conflict.

I know that it is possible to have 2 OS on a single harddisk. Except mine now is 1 OS on 1 harddisk, and another OS on another harddisk. So can I just plug it into PC2? Or do I have to reinstall windows on the PC1 harddisk? Will reinstalling windows cause me to lose my files?

I want to have both harddisk on a single PC without losing my own files. Please help me. And thanks for any help I can get.

EDIT: I just tried to on back my PC1. And now it seems to be dead, cannot even turn on. Is it possible my harddisk died?
