headphone jack not detect

on my pro45vj-vo047x laptop, playback device does not show headphone when plugged.

so when I plug headphone, no sound.

but when I boot to ubuntu 16.04 on same laptop (dualboot), there's sound when using headphone.

how to find the right sound device model and driver?

after a few days of suddenly rebooted pc, one day it could not even go to bios.

cpu fan just made noise like slowing down and suddenly going fast repeteadly.

I have tried cleaning RAMs with rubber pencil eraser but still the same.

any idea? Should I replace motherboard?

I'm currently looking into monit to automatically remount "mount -a" after /dev/sdb1 & /dev/sdc1 becomes available again.

This is because of heating issue that caused SAN storage to auto powered off.

Ant idea/tips would be appriciated.

I have bold 5 that have problem charging, I have to change usb positions and do not let it moved so it would charge.

I managed to fix this issue in a phone repair shop for 60 ringgit for my lenovo s920 but not sure for blackberry.

done on first web server:

copied (cp -R /var/www) to ocsf2 formatted logical volume on /mnt/lun1
-unmount /mnt/lun1
-rename /var/www to /var/www-old
-mount ocfs formatted logical volume to /var/www

on second web server:
-mount ocfs formatted logical (same as on first web server ) volume to /var/www

ownership of folders and files inside /var/www root:root on first web server
chown -R www-data:webgroup on /var/www but on second web server, ownership shown as one-of-webgroup-member:webgroup

any tips are appreciated.

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 amd64

I created a lvm2 logical volume from a LUN that could not get mounted during boot.

It asked to press S to skip or M to manually recover.

This OCFS2 when mounted will make that server joins OCFS cluster. Sample /etc/fstab below if it will help:

AFAIK, if I'm mounting NFS, I would need to put _netdev in fstab, but how about ocfs2?

I'm system engineer specializing in Zimbra Collaboration Suite & Netvault Backup with 3 years experience, total of 6 years in IT (started as technician)

- ITIL Foundation

Does anyone know any IT job in kuantan? Because will move to my wife's house in Kuantan soon since it would be tedious to be weekend husband travelling 300km every weekend. plus my current salary (2.9k, 2.5k after kwsp+socso) could not afford that kind of lifestyle. Of course after deducting my 1.5k loans (bad past mistakes)
