PC freeze while gaming

Hello and Hi to all sifus out there.

a few days ago i was playing prototype 2 at its max setting. while playing suddenly everything freeze, like totally freeze. i was like, wth? before it freeze, i noticed something weird, the game lag a bit but for less than a second. at first i thought it was nothing until it freeze, like totally freeze. i started to notice it while i was playing the game and at the same time listening to on9 streaming radio, some sort of putus2 connection (like it was buffering). i'm not sure what kind of streaming they are using but look forward to identify that.

i managed to run the task manager after forcing alt+ctrl+ del for a few times , n close some web browser later.

the problem is, is it related to the flashplayer on the browser that causes everything to freeze? bcoz i noticed some strange problem whn i'm using firefox, ie: slow on open new tab or youtube-ing although the internet connection is pretty fast. the plug in seems to be up to date though.

no problems on other games, TC ghost recon future soldier, pes13. since it totally freeze up, i assume that it was not caused by the game itself, coz usually if it was by the game, i can just easily go task manager n end the game.

i hope to all the sifus out there can help me with this. this rig is important to me since i have 1 semester left to finish up my study, n i pray nothing happen between that period.

Hello and Hi to all the sifus out there . I want to build a rig, coz i bought HP laptop about 2 years ago now wanna cabut already the screen. good quality, but later i used for my catia drawing, and for gaming n now easily overheat. since my friend told me to make a rig instead of buying a new laptop, so here i'm listing the hardwares that im planning to buy :

i5 3470 - RM565
Gigabyte Z77M-D3H - RM319
Sapphire HD7850 2GB - RM 679
corsair 4gb - RM58
WD 500GB blue - RM168
corsair gs 700W - RM325
DVD LG - RM 53
any casing - +/- RM150
no need keyboard, mouse, monitor nor speaker.

total - rm2317.

since i'm still student, that's the most money that i can afford, mybe a little add up rm100 is still ok. ill be using it for programming C/C++, catia drawing, mybe a bit photoshop, power director, and the rest gaming. my monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080 if im not mistaken.

the reason y im aiming for hd7850 is bcoz i hope it can last for about 3 years or so, n able to play all the latest game for pc, if not in its max just a mid setting is enough for me. n for i5 3470, since i always do multiple task at a time, so i thought this i5 might just be the right processor to use ( catia, multisim and arduino program running at a time, plus web browser with multiple tabs and windows which my laptop cant handle ). at first i plan to buy 600W psu, but later i did a few research n i noticed that this gpu only need 500W, so plus other hardwares about 600W should be enough, thn later the same friend told me about this psu is using capacitor n stuff so later the power will decrease and stuff, so change to 700W.

now my laptop always hang and overheat, making it harder for me to complete my research. i humbly request to all the sifus out there to help me in making decision, and thank u in advance.

*ps - about the hdd, im planning to make 2 X 500gb, now focus on 1 only for system and temporary file use. later if have more money grab 500gb or 1tb for movies .
