So disappointed… Read today that the Nintendo 3DS *max* batter life span is 3,5 hours. Wtf! Can we use extra battery packs or something?

I read that the new Zelda is coming out (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) somewhere this year, and the preview got me so excited!! I was just wondering whether they have swords for the Wii, then I found this one on Amazon. But I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get. There must be tons of Wii swords out there no? Anyone purchased any?

Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread leaks for Samsung Galaxy

Not every Galaxy S user around the globe even has Froyo yet -- but Samsung's ready to move on, it seems, crafting a ROM based on Android 2.3.2 (in other words, quite recently) for the i9000 model that just leaked across the giant faucet better known as the internet. The darned thing is nearly a quarter gigabyte in size, so Samsung's not playing here, but users haven't fleshed out everything that's changed just yet. Of course, if you're using one of the millions of Galaxy S devices that aren't an i9000, you've got more waiting to do... but we're certain hackers are already well underway tearing this bad boy apart and crafting custom ROMs for various SKUs. BlackBerry PlayBook to support Android apps?

I switched from RIM to Apple, and thinking to switch to Android now, but I have always had a weakness for the good old Blackberry. Apparently RIM is not looking for ways to get Android apps working on their PlayBook, which would be awesome! Could this be a big boost for the PlayBook sales?

BlackBerry Already Running Android Apps?

ShopSavvy, creator of the fantastic barcode reader/shopping assistant app, noticed something, well, peculiar in their logs. It shows that people in Waterloo, Ontario (where RIM is based) using the Android ShopSavvy app on Blackberry phones. The devices tracked are:
• BlackBerry 8300 ran ShopSavvy on January 31, 2011
• BlackBerry 8600 ran ShopSavvy on January 17 and 24, 2011
• BlackBerry 8520 ran ShopSavvy on February 7, 2011
This Android app trail that leads back to RIM actually corroborates a previous report of the BlackBerry PlayBook being able to run Android apps. Or maybe it's nothing, those devices are just variations of the Curve, not a PlayBook. Nevertheless, if true, it's very interesting to see RIM using Android apps to their advantage is a pretty smart move but it's unclear how Google will react (they do have strict Android Market rules).

Tips for optimal use of li-ion batteries

I read a useful article on Gizmode on li-ion batteries. Thought I’d share it with you. Here are the tips (sounds simple, but I don’t comply with them!) See link for full article.

• Do not let it run out completely all the time. Full discharge puts a lot of strain on the battery
• Do not keep a Li-ion battery fully charged all the time, either. If you don't use your battery it might suffer from capacity loss
• Keep your battery in cooler temperatures. Hot hot heat is not good for it
• If you're gonna store your battery, leave 40%-50% charge in and store it in a cool place (i.e. fridge).
