I recently have lots of friends calling me via whatsapp call. Not that I hated it, but most of the time the line is amazingly bad. Given that nowadays most phone plan comes with unlimited phone calls or even cheaper rate per minute, why do people still use whatsapp to call? Can you really save that much?

How to play music via soundbar & speakers?

Happy Weekend guys!

I have been using Bose speakers on my PC for about 4-6 years. Everything was great until last October my Bose speakers died. I initially thought it could be fixed so I sent it over the Atlas (distributor for Bose in Malaysia) for service. They called about a week later, informing that Bose doesn't produce spare chips anymore for my model hence, they can't do anything to it.

Thinking that I need a replacement, I then purchased a soundbar from Philips. Fast forward lately I just thought of testing my old Bose again using NEW AUX cable and it WORKED!! Niama la the people simply say cannot be fixed

My question now is, since I've purchased the soundbar, can I in anyway play sound from both (the speaker and also the soundbar)? I tried that but as soon as I connected to the soundbar via bluetooth, the Bose speaker has stopped.

[Dilemma] Started new job 3 days ago

Greetings guys.

So I recently just started a new job (3 days ago to be precise; started last friday). From the first day till now I have been working under extreme stress and I am forced to leave after 9.00 pm due to unfinished work. Plenty of deadlines to meet and only been given a day to complete it. This is not the usual practice in my industry. Boss told me that if I work here, i need to get used to the routine. Previous 2 staffs just left after working for 3 months or less.

Today I got a call from a company I went for interview last month (or weeks) asking me to go for a 2nd interview with them. If I am being offered a position there, i would definitely accept their offer. Thing is, how should I tell my current boss about that? I have not entered a contract with the current company as everyone is busy rushing for deadlines. I will probably hold the contract until an offer has been given by the new company. What are the chances of getting an offer during a second interview?

I certainly will be ashamed for being a quitter, but the stress & the system in the company is really terrible. In fact, I am posting this while at the office as I just completed my 'daily routine'.

*Latest updates : I attended the 2nd interview and I am one of the 4 shortlisted. Should be able to know the result by next week (that is what they said). However I think I should properly withdraw my term at the current office as it is better to do it now because I have yet to sign the contract. Also, no point in making myself miserable for the long term. Thanks for all the comments and valuable feedback, will update here of the happening of events. (yesterday I worked till 1am also haiz).

*Latest latest updates : I am being offered by the new company, and it has now been confirmed. I tendered my resignation already and thankfully my current boss did not give me a hard time. I just have to work until next week before I start on a new career. Thank you all for your valuable opinion

Just now was in a pub to celebrate last day of work. The table behind me stood a woman aged 25-30. She is quite high as you can imagined, not sure if she is drunk. When I excused myself to the toilet, I noticed that she followed me until the edge of the pub and she kinda flirt with me and told me that she has no transport back tonight and if I am kind enough to send her home. Believe it or not, I really fall into that and I took her home which is not too far from my place. Long story cut short, when I reached her condo, she told me that the night is still young (it was 12.15am mind you), and if i would like to "explore her" tonight- the exact word she used.

In that exact moment, I realised that my gf just had dinner with her colleagues and what if in the moment a guy flirted with her and asked her out? In the end, I politely rejected the girl by saying "Sorry miss, I have a gf". Hearing that, she gave me her middle finger and left the car. I was like WTF?? At least have the courtesy of saying thanks.

Morale of the story is, do not simply agree to a stranger's request.
