A New Galaxy Tab or 2nd Ipad 2?

Hi all,
If I have a budget to buy a 10.1 new samsung galaxy tab or 2nd hand Ipad 2 (as the price now is within the same range)... which should i looks for? Which one is really worth the money to spend? I need a good and robust tablet which have wi-fi and 3g function and got lots for free apps support in the net. This tablet will mainly be use for simple typing, surfing and games. Anyone has opinion on this? I don't have any experience using tablet before. All of the opinions will be very much appreciate, thank you.

Hi,
I'm using Lenovo 3000 Y410 with Vista Ultimate 32 bit before. Yesterday i upgrade my laptop to Windows 7 64 bit. Everything was fine until i found up that when i press Shift + @, what i will get is ", same goes to # and ~, every thing else looks ok. I already tried to download everything that i can get from Lenovo website, but it still not working. All the drivers is working fine from the diagnose done. I'm thinking of downgrading back to Vista, but the problem is I can't do it as I don't have windows.old folder as a backup. Anyone knows how to fix this problem? All helps and suggestion is very much appreciate. Thank you.

Cannot View Image Directly

Hi all,
Actually i have to questions and hopefully somebody can help me.
1. I'm using Vista basic in my D630, before, i can view actual image directly, let it be in my desktop or in any folder. But since now (i'm not sure what setting that i had accidently changed), i can't view the image directly, to view the image, i have to open it, i had tried to change many thing, but it's still the same.

2. My Lenovo Y410 (Wins XP SP2) got this problem, everytime i do the typing in Word, the cursor will jump to somewhere else, it's seems like the keyboard is to sensitive. It is very annoying. How can i rectify this problem?

All advise and help is very much appreciate. Thanks in advance.

How to print the whole document?

Hi all,
I have a Word document file with the flowchart/ diagram in it. That flowchart is covering the whole document. When i preview it, i can see the whole document. But when i print it out some chart and line is missing like half of it in left and write of the document. I try to set the margin to 0 in both side but cannot as the Word will fix it automatically. Some said i'have to change the printer setting, but i don't know how to do that as i'm using a network printer. It will tedious process if i have to draw again all the flowcharts in that document. All help is very well appreciate. Thank you.

Hi all,
I'm using Dell D630 with Vista Basic. My problem is, when i do the typing in a word or email, the position of my text will simply jump to another sentence (during the typing). This problem has cause me a lots of typing error and very irritating. I have check my mouse setting at Control Panel but everyhing is in a default setting. My friend told me that, this might be also cause by virus. So any suggestion or any freeware that i should install to solve this problem? All help and advice is very much appreciate. Accidently, i have prees some button, and now my screen display is at 90 degrees clockwise... I had already tried to change it back to normal display, but still i can't find the solution, i know it is somewhere in setting cuz i had already come across it but then i forgot where is the exact location...i'm using vista basic. Hi all,
I've tried many time to send e-mail with Power Point 2007 file attachment. Everything looks normal when i compose it, but then when i click the send button, i will get a blank white screen. I try to check my sent lists but that e-mail is not in the sent lists. I've tried using different e-mail, but the result is still the same. The 2007 version file will be to big if convert to 2003 format. So any idea what is wrong with that file and what i can do solve it? Thanks.

My using Dell E520 with Vista Basic. I got a problem which is that i can't get through internet. It's start first with my IE, and then i'll used Mozilla as an option. But now both browser can't get through internet anymore. I've tried systems restore but nothing change. Any idea or suggestion? All helps is very much appreciate....

Hi, all
I'm using dell d630 with vista basic. My problem is, everytime i plug in the network cable into my laptop, i've to do the diagnostic and repair it to get a connection into internet. Although i can get the connection but it's quiete tedious to do it everytime when i plug the cable. Do i have to set any setting in my laptop? i'm using my office network cable with dynamic ip. Do you guy have any suggestion?

[HELP] Opening Word in Vista...

Hi,
Sorry if this question has been asked before. But my friend just get a new PC with Vista. The problem now, when she double click any word document that has been edited using Office XP, it will produce a 'rubbish' file. She can only open it by opening Word from Vista first. So any solution for this?
One more thing, Vista does not come with Power Point right? As i don't see any PowerPoint in Vista. All the powerpoint slide will only be open in PPS format (for show only). Does it mean she has to install it separately? So all Vista guru's please help me to help her, tq...

[WTA] Wrong Target For Control Panel

Hi, hopefully someone can help me on this..
When i click control panel at at start menu, My Documents folder is open instead of control panel. It seems like the target for it has been changed. Maybe this is due to a lot of viruses in this notebook that has been cleaned. So anybody know how to correct this target? All help is very well appreciate, thanks

Hi, all.
I'm trying to help my student to solve this problem in her notebook.
This is the problem, everytime she click on any icon at desktop to run, this message window with this title will appear, " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" with message... Runtime Error! Program:C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE
abnormal program termination... and her notebook does not even have the C++ compiler.
So, any of you guys has come across this kind of problem? Please help me, if you have known the solution. All helps is very much appreciate, tq.

If someone could enlighten me about this,
I'm planning to buy a new battery for my xda iis. I had found it at lelong.com. But what make me confused is that, there are 2 seller over there with 2 different prices. One is RM88 for 3 months warranty and one is RM150 (with 2400 mah) for 6 months warranty. As i don't know how much it will cost me if i buy from O2. So which one do you think that i should buy? Hi all,
Actually this is a new obstacle that occur in a process for me to clean the worm that has infected my students notebook..
To clean that worm, i have to do it in safe mode. And to get the safe mode as usual i have to press F8 after restart for WinXP... but because of that worm i cannot restart since the message window of that worm will appear everytime i want to restart or shut down that notebook. All this while i just press the power button to shut it down... so how i'm going to get the safe mode to clean that virus? Please give me some advice. All help is very much appreciate thank you.
Or can i just use a Knoppix CD to reboot than find and delete it from there??

Hi all, actually my student ask me to help her to clean her notebook from this virus. This is the problem; everytime she wants to shut down her notebook, this message window will appear, 'I'm here To Protect...whatever'. I can find the file BRO.ACT.EXE, but i cannot remove it since that file is in the setting to be in running mode. I try to open the task manager to stop it but failed, as the task manager will not appear (just blink for a second). I believe this is cuz by that virus programme too. What make it more annoying is the sound of someone laughing when i try to stop it.
So please give me some advice to help my student other than formating her notebook if possible. All help is very well appreciate, thank you.

Last night i went to Giant to buy a charger for my double AA Nimh battery. In my mind before that, the price of the charger will be less than rm40.
But what i found out really make me shock, some charger is RM1++ and the cheapest one is Rm70++.
Then i decide to go to other shops at different shopping complex and the price is moreless same with Giant. Is this the market price for it now or is it that it has been a long time ago that i found out somewhere else that battery charger price is less than RM40??
btw i don't buy it yet as i think that price too high. How about the price in KL? Anyone?

Sorry for my ignorance, but if there any software or freeware for database like Ms Acces that is specially develop for PPC? If got, i'm planning to install it in my xda iis. I'll be using this database to put my students name list, markh etc. One more thing, is there a software to generate graph or some sort of display for PPC to LCD? All helps is very much appreciate.

How To Save File in Knoppix?

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I'm very new in Linux, please guide me sifu...
I'm using Knoppix 3.4 live cd to get an experince in using Linux (failed to get the latest version). I've tried using it and found out that Linux is very interesting not as what i think before. But what make me wonder is how can i save my file into hard-disk or pendrive if i'm using openoffice text editor to write something in Knoppix.
From what i know now, all files will be save in RAM, after i log-out everything will be gone.
Is there a way to make it save permanetly in my hard-disk?. Please give me some tips or instructions to configure it if there is any. All helps is very well appreciate. Thanks
