the combustion of a hydrocarbon produced 0.264g C02 and 0.108g of water. which one of the structural formula does not apply to this hydrocarbon
A. ethene
B. prop-1-ene
C. cyclopentane
D. cyclobutane
E. but-2-ene

sorry i don't have the time to draw

my problem:
calculating didn't help (perhaps my method was wrong) because the mass of hydrocarbon wasn't given.
i think it's more about the structure of the hydrocarbon and not the number of C and H atoms in the hydrocarbon?

Why I don't get it.

M has a charge of +3, no?

SO TELL ME, do guys think/react exactly like the girls when it comes to this matter?
