i'm thinking of upgrading my old P4 rig..main objective is to play games n lil bit of oc'ing..please recommend me the parts i need..i need suggestion on parts in the list below as i already bought some of the parts earlier..things i need are

CPU-prefer Intel

change screen refresh rate to 75hz

i'm using 17" CRT monitor n i tried changing the screen resolution from 60hz to 75hz...games run fine on 60hz but the bad thing is the screen is not straight on the right side of windows...when i change to 75hz the line becomes straight but some game can't show fullscreen properly(looks like cinema screen with black area above n below the screen)...how to solve this

HDD suddenly change to RAW...inaccessible

my seagate 40gb hdd was running fine a few days ago...this morning i found out that i can't access the hdd n it says that the hdd is not formatted..when i open the hdd properties tab i saw that the partition type has changed to RAW...how do i fix this problem...i've got so many important data in the hdd..please help me guys

why is it some programs like sisoft sandra XL n regcleaner can't run on my frens new pc but can run on old pc like mine which is pentium 4 only...my fren is using Core 2 Duo Processor...whats the problem?

Acer AL717 LCD monitor problem

my fren recently bought an Acer LCD monitor..the problem with it is this auto config keeps coming out when log in to windows and even when playing games...its not a big problem but its quite annoying...my other fren hav the same model monitor but he never encounter such thing..are there ways to disable this or this monitor is already faulty....n another thing is the sli configuration that will pop up when entering windows...can i disable it...thanx a lot guys

Can't turn off/shutdown pc

my fren just bought a new pc this morning....but the problem is he can't get it to shutdown...the screen goes blank just a few seconds after he click turn off in windows n then turn on again by itself...he installed everything correctly..help my fren guys

as above..what coz the graphic to become slower...this problem doesn't occur when i'm using gforce 4 mx 440...i tot fx5200 would give me better performance even though just a bit..my rig spec as below..thanx

As above...i wanted to oc but the problem is the agp/pci cant be lock n it will also increase when i add up the FSB n will eventually fail..tried the bundled software (EASYTUNE) but doin no good...is there anyway to overcome this...hope all sifus here can help me
