Hong Leong One Smart Plan. Pro and Conts

Recently I bought a house around RM500k. Then for the insurance I took MLTA with Hong Leong. The insurance plan called : Hong Leong One Smart Plan. At that time I think it's good to make it cover 100% value for my loan.

Now I was thinking back with that amount of money I pay (RM5k) for 1 year, I can use it somewhere else.

Anyone take this plan?
