Enrichment / tuition classes in Malaysia

Hi there,

I'm currently doing a thesis on technology and education, looking into the application of technology into the delivery of education. I know many parents do send their children for enrichment or tuition classes, and would like to know whether there is a need for centralized depository of all available enrichment / tuition classes in Malaysia.

If there is an online platform with all the possible available enrichment / tuition classes in Malaysia with genuine feedback / ratings, would you be willing to use this rather than just searching via Google?

I have created a short google survey that I would really appreciate if any one of you can spare a few minutes to participate in.

Survey on enrichment / tuition classes

Many thanks!

Is my cousin overpaying for his tuition?

Hi all,

My cousin has A-levels accounting tuition almost everyday because he is struggling to cope with it. I would like ask whether RM100 per hour is the reasonable market rate for a-levels tuition or is it a ripoff? If i can recall properly, my uncle pays nearly RM2500 per month just for his son's tuition! do you think he is overpaying or is RM100 per hour reasonable for a levels tuition?

There's this girl that takes the same course as I do, and we have been in the same classes for almost 2 years already. At the beginning of the course, I noticed that she would glance and stare at me a lot, but I never paid her much attention. However, after one semester I started noticing her and I started to be attracted to her. When I mustered up enough confidence to approach and talk to her more, she would talk to me and smile. It was all good until I lost my confidence when she started to pay less attention to me and i assumed that she disliked me. Out of the blue, one of her friend, who is also a mutual friend of mine, asked me whether I liked her. Her friend said that I talked to her a lot and even noticed that I would act different when i am around her than with other girls. I immediately chickened out and brushed off her friend's claim by saying "No way!!". After that incident, I observed that she would always turn her shoulders away from me whenever i am near her, and would not look at me directly in the face, basically ignoring me. Even when we are assigned in the same study group, she would not talk to me. She is not shy person, so I do not know why she would do this to me. I am confused as I don't know how she got the idea that I like her when all I did was talking and having normal friendly conversations with her like how anybody would. Is this normal? Why would she jump to conclusions? I have to admit I did ignore her for quite some time before all this happened, but it still isn't justified. Please advice....

recommendation for Electric guitar

hey all, i've been playing the acoustic for about half a year and i realized that i don't really enjoy playing it. So i decided that i should take up the electric guitar, but im not really sure what brand and type of guitar that i should get, therefore i want to seek advice and recommendations from all of you sifus out there. i have cast my eye on a PRS Se custom 24, but quite hesitant not buying it as i am not really sure whether it is a good guitar for its value. so if all sifus can help and give feedback, i really appreciate it.
