I need help from /k army

Dear fellow /k residents,

I have a situation here. I'm going to Mekah this coming December as a helper to someone who's old. For this, the travel agent need to hold my passport for Visa application.

The thing is, I need to go to Indonesia next week for another important matter.

The agent told me if I don't deliver my passport in time, I won't be able to go to Mekah.

I went to immigration asking whether it's possible for them to issue me secondary doc, but they said that's not possible, and they said I have to deal with the agent, who said that's not possible.

So I'm looking for a solution right now that would enable me to go to both places.

I'm thinking of sending my passport to the agent, and then I'll make another passport, pretending that the current one is missing, then I'll go to Indonesia with the new passport. Would this work?

Any input from fellow /k is highly appreciated. Thanks for reading through. =)

Dear fellow /k/

When Charles confronted Erik about JFK's assasination, about how the bullet curved, Erik denied he was the murderer.

Instead, he said the bullet curved because he was trying to save JFK, because he was also a fellow mutant.

So, is he telling the truth, or he just wanted to fool Charles?

What to do with a piece of land?

Dear fellow forumers,

This is my first time posting in this section. Before this reading anonymously only, but it's good to see many old-timers and experienced people willingly share their views and opinions here, which are very helpful, especially for younger ppl and first time buyers. Salute to u guys!

I also would like to ask some opinions regarding a situation in my family. It might be a bit lengthy, but please bear with me.

Here we go;

My family owns a piece of land in Johor. The size if 5 acres (217,800 ft²). The title bears the name of five owners, my mum is one of them, and others are her siblings (my uncles and aunts). It is not a Malay reserved land. The land has been divided (pecah lot) accordingly to the owners. Recently there are some issues regarding the land;

1) My cousin's husband, who is a Bangladeshi man, built a shop on the land, which sits on a border of two owners' lot. This caused confusion as to which part of the land belongs to who. Another problem is that he secretly transferred the title of the ownership from my uncle to his wife (who is my uncle's daughter). My uncle and his wife just condoned the action because they are both simpletons, and used to sit in kelas pendidikan khas at school. They are not very bright (not because they're stupid and not learning enough, but because it's how they are).

2) The owners are divided whether to sell or to cultivate the land. This is fine, but the thing is, the owners are all very old already. My mum is the youngest, and she's more than sixty already. They definitely do not have the skills to cultivate the land, and neither are they entrepreneurial. Nevertheless, they have strong sentiments towards the land because it is a gift from their late parents, hence they're quite reluctant to just sell it off (this is a typical situation among Malays and their land).

Previously my other cousin who handled the 'pecah lot' process told me that some ppl had approached her to buy the land. They were offered by someone who wanted to open McD, but was refused because McD is "zionist". There are other bidders as well, but the one who offered most was the McD guy.

My thought is it is better to sell off the land and let other people put it to better use. But it would be a very lengthy process, and there's no one in my family who has the time to manage all the formalities. However, I may consider taking up the job, because I'm a property agent, but the problem is it's all the way in Johor, and I have to stay there for quite some time too. Plus I can't do other things like I do in KL till the matter is done.

Any input as to how I can solve this situation?

Thanks for reading.

Dear fellow /k/

Just now my client called me, just to update the process of their restaurant renovation.

He said he just came back from Bandaran, and they said renovation approval might take at least 2 months.

2 months is too long for my client, because he need to move from current restaurant to this new one that I got for him by end of this month.

Bandaran said if he doesn't comply, he will get sued for at least RM12k.

Then they said if want things to go according to my client's way must pay undertable RM10k.

Is this a normal thing for Bandaran ppl to do? Any way to avoid this undertable thing and still able to renovate on time?

Thanks for reading.

I would rate it 9/10.

For specs, can visit this Official Hamilton Website or the exact same model being sold at Creationwatches Website

What I like most in this watch is its minimalist style, and slim design. It's very light, yet with strong presence due to it's 43mm case. Definitely a thing to fall in love with.

Thank you!

Pic of actual item (but poor quality camera-phone);

Pic courtesy of Google:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

My Caturday story

Dear fellow /k/.

Tonight Imma share you a story, which starts approximately 3 years back, while I was still in college.

Inside the hostel where I lived, there were a number of cats that come and go. Most of them didn't stay long because some enforcers or maybe SPCA or God knows maybe some Vietnamese restaurant operators took them, but some do find owners who took care of them throughout their study time. I happen to be a person who is very fond of cats, and I have my part in feeding those poor creatures whenever I have the chances. They make very good company, and they get rid of pests and rodents too.

One night, as I came back from hanging out with friends in one of the college cafe, I saw three little kittens underneath the staircase at the ground floor. They were very small, and I've never seen them there before, so I guess some irresponsible owners might have just disposed them there. I called them out to have a good look, two came out running at me, while the other one took a little bit longer to get to me.

Then suddenly, a sharp rotten and pungent smell hit my nose and I was like "WTF?", then I saw the slow little kitten that came to me last, her left hind leg was all swollen (almost triple the size of its leg) and black (I guess dried blood), which made me even more "WTF???". I stood there in shock, with my friend, figuring out what to do with this poor kitten. It was almost midnight, we didn't have any car to take her to the vet, plus all vets must have closed during that hour.

So we agreed to let just the kitten brave itself till tomorrow, then we do what we can. We gave it some food and water, and call it a day.

[TO BE CONTINUED AFTER DINNER]

How is your relationship with your parents?

Dear fellow /k/.

I remember back when I first started college, one of my room mates was super obedient to his mother.

He always called her every night, talk about his studies, daily life, friends, etc.

There was this one time he was hungry at night, and too lazy to go out to get food, so he asked another room mate for a pack of Maggi.

Then before he proceeded to cook his Maggi, he called his mum, asking for her permission to eat Maggi, because u know la Maggi is bad for health and brain etc.

Then his mum said kenot, to which he obediently followed without question, then returned the Maggi to his room mate and didn't eat that night.

So how about you guys? Do you love ur parents and obey them to that extent?
